I have just had Windows 11 reinstalled on my Laptop, I synced everything over from my desktop but Setup VPN and Hoxx icons which would be with other add-ons are missing, I emailed both suppliers. I followed their instructions and found that both add-ons are enabled but no icons. I don't appear to have any overflow, no '>>' I tried uninstalling them but still no icons to enable me to use these.

This latest version doesn't work properly, (unable to download videos), and i want to return to the earlier version but i don't remember what it was. How do i find out my previouse version? Only the supported mac versions are listed on the older versions download site. How can i access all firefox versions through 131,0? I'm visually impaired and had originally used a CSS code to fix this problem, but that was a couple of years ago. I just upgraded to 131.0.3 (64 bit) and evidently, that wiped out all my CSS changes. I tried to use the about:config code to change it, but it no longer works. I managed to increase the icon size a little by changing the density to normal, then back to compact. Even on normal, it was all too small.

I don't want to use another profile, because every time I do, I lose so much that it takes me hours to reinstall it all.

Is there an easier way to do this? I've tried a couple of things suggested online, but they were old settings suggestions, and they no longer work either.

ALSO, I now have to use F11 full screen to be able to perform anything on the toolbars. Before this update, I could just move my cursor up to bring the toolbars down, and use the back arrow or refresh easily. Now, the toolbars immediately go back up and I have to use F11 to do anything. How do I fix this?

Hello. I got a new laptop (Windows 11) and have been trying to sign in to my main account for an hour. I can "sign in" with my email and password, and I get the account recovery code in my email. I then enter that, then I am immediately told that my account is "disconnected", even though by all other indications, I am signed in. I mean, I have to be signed in to create this post!

I read over other posts, and some of their issues seem to stem from something about their default profile. However, 1) I should still be able to sign in to a non-default profile, 2) I have been able to sign in to a different (student) profile just fine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled FF twice now, with full deletion of profiles etc. And no luck.

Other posts have mentioned antivirus software interference, but that doesn't explain why my other (student) profile works fine.

Also, when I try to create a recovery key, I am presented with an "unknown error" screen. I have attached a screenshot of that.

In the past you could send links by long-pressing them and using the context menu to send them to other devices(not the android "share" option)

Why was this removed and more importantly: how do I get it back?

I recently downloaded Firefox on my Android device. It's been fine. However today, there was an issue. I have the settings set on my phone so bookmarks appear on the homepage. However, today, for some reason, the bookmark on the homepage was glitched. I'm not sure why, but I figured I just had to reset it. So I go rid of the bookmark on the homepage, and redid the bookmark. It was working again, but now, the bookmark isn't appearing on the homepage anymore. It's just a blank homepage, even though my settings are still the same. I've turned the settings on and off, reset fire fox, cleared cache, and the bookmark still isn't showing up. Pleas help me.

Every time I try to sign in into my FF account in the browser it fails to connect to sync.

I get to the sign-in stage, it already knows my email so I'm prompted to put in my password then it sends me an email with code which I put in then I am prompted to put in my 2FA. I get signed in on a separate Mozilla accounts page but when I click on the Account icon in the top right in my browser and sync starts it immediately fails and says "Account Disconnected". I noticed that this started happening after I updated my email/updated Firefox to 131.0 (64-bit) Windows. Not sure if any of it is related.

I have tried various things like:

1. Logging in and out (multiple times) 2. Refreshing Firefox 3. Checking that I am not always using Privacy Mode (I was not) 4. Changing Profiles, changing default profiles 5. Reinstalling Firefox

Nothing solves the problem. I am now unable to see any of my bookmarks or anything from my profile because sync never works. I want to add that this is NOT a problem on Android. The issue happens only on my desktop FF installation.

Until recently I have been able to select where my bookmarks are saved. I have a large number of folders to keep my bookmarks organized by subject. Recently I no longer have the option to select where a bookmark is saved. Is it possible to fix this prolem?

I recently reloaded my M1 MacBook Air with macOS Sequoia. Ever since doing so, Firefox opens the right-click menu every time I press Control+Return (like when attempting to autocomplete a URL ending in .com, a feature I use quite frequently). It is only in Firefox that this happens, no other browser or program is doing this. I have uninstalled Firefox using AppCleaner, downloaded a new copy of Firefox 131.0 and reinstalled without any change in this behavior. Any ideas on what I can do to stop this so Control+Return only autocompletes a URL again?
