For some reason text on some websites such as wikipedia and timeanddate is completely messed up, it looks like gibberish but is actually just displayed wrong. When you copy the text and paste it into something like Word it shows the text correctly, I've noticed that the text is shifted by one letter forward (e is f, f is g, etc.). I've tried the main, beta and nightly releases as well as reinstalling Firefox. Images attached.

Is there a way that I can recover my New Tab page setup (just the new tab page) from a Macrium Reflect backup of my OS disk? I recently did some cleanup that cratered my FireFox profile (developer and beta also). I would like to somehow recover just the New Tab page setup from the os backup. Any solution? Thanks for your help.

Despite addblock and other antiviruses turned off on my phone, he still bans movies on the browser that I want to watch. I have reset the phone, uninstalled suspicious apps and the problem is still there. Please help or advise how to fix it. I want to watch movies on my phone again like before.

I like to have my browsing history cleared after I quit Firefox, but I found out that this will break the action to open previous windows and tabs.

How to have these two options live together?

Is there any way I can completely disable horizontal scrolling? I'm using a laptop with a trackpoint (lenovo x230, Windows 10) and it's not terribly accurate, which means scrolling whilst a youtube video is going often makes it track backwards or forwards, and another website I use uses a horizontal click to send me to the next page, which sucks. I would prefer to just be able to disable it entirely. Thanks!

I recently installed new pc with fresh Firefox Developer Edition. Then I transfered the profile folder from old pc to the new pc. All bookmarks, addons, etc is there. Just the XULRunner popup appears only on the new pc. I uninstalled firefox on the new pc again and reinstalled it with profile cleaning. After profile cleaning firefox got faster and addons got removed. But the XULRunner popup keeps appearing. When I go to taskscheduler and trigger the "Firefox Developer Edition Background Update CA9422711AE1A81C" again, the XULRunner popup appears. Removing this taskscheduler and Firefox keeps readding it and the XULRunner popup are back. Any idea how I can get rid of the XULRunner popup?

with a lot of effort I edited three times all my container entries at about:preferences#containers, but the changes were not overtaken correctly.

Now I want to start from the scratch without having to create a new Firefox profile. How can I delete the container entries permanently ? I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the extension, but the entries were still there afterwards.

Lately in Google Drive I get this error when I select one image or a file: Impossible load details. Retry. I have Firefox 108 version, on Edge and Chrome all is OK. Also the troubleshoot mode doesn't resolve the problem.

My account was correctly backed up on my Samsung galaxy than It brake and I configurate a new huawey phone and got Mozzilla again but when I signed up I surpriserly sow nothing simply nothing was baked, I repeat the old phone was just backed up before broken. Dear Firefox, It is a matter of great regret that your popular browser has failed to sync back my saved bookmarks and other data once i reinstalled firefox. This issue is not new as it happened to me before.. Last time I didn't bother as I thought this might be an bug but today once I reinstalled firefox and signed in.. It seemed that firefox has yet once again failed to syn all my bookmarks, data, extensions etc... It is a huge pain as I cant keep on repeating myself to save all the extensions and preferences.. please solve this issue or I wll have to seek other browsers

Had to refresh Firefox but lost my bookmark sidebar & can't find a way to re-establish it. Used to be a setting for it at the top of the home page but none now. Can't find it in settings.
