I’m running Firefox 131.4 (46621) on my iPhone 12.

I’m setting up a new Mac, and I’m trying to sync the freshly installed Firefox (132.0.1 aarch64) with my other FF instances.

The sync instructions ask if I have FF for mobile, then provide a QR code and give these instructions: 1. Open Firefox on your mobile device. 2. Go to the menu /// on iOS and tap «Sync and save data» 3. Tap «Ready to scan» and hold your phone over this code

There is *no* «Sync and save data» menu item, and I can’t find any other location where I might scan a QR code.

Er, help?

Sync collections after Android factory reset, have Firefox on desktop that is synced, but the new Android install synced bookmarks but not collections, of which i have many, or did.

I'm sure I've just missed a step, but been reading for 3 weeks now .... any idea's?

I had about 500 tabs on FF on my iphone open. The browser crashed and now all of those seem to be gone. "Recently Closed" is empty. Starting the browser just opens an empty page. I had sync turned one but oh magic the synced tabs pretty much immediately diappeared from the other devices as well. Any ideas how I might be able to recover those tabs? Could they still be saved somewhere on the iphone or in the cloud?

I just finished setting up my new pc with Windows 11 (Feb 2023 updates) and installed Firefox 110.0.1) and wanted to transfer my logins, passwords, etc, from my Android 12 Phone's Firefox 110.1.0, and other pcs. A window popped up giving instructions how to sync my phone, as follow:

• • • Sync Firefox on you phone or tablet. 1) open Firefox on your Mobile Device. 2) Go to the menu (<ios>&<android>menu examples shown) and tap sync and save data. 3. Tap ready to scan and hold your phone over this code.***

I'm 73, have used Firefox since first release in 2004. In all these years I have never seen SYNC in the instructions to "sync and save and to point the phone at a barcode-thingy" or at least not in this world. The instructions made it seem like SYNC was right there to see, but I had to dig thru layes of options to finally find it. You can blaim it on my 73 yr old brain, I guess, but nothing like these instructions exist in Windows or Android firfox. What in the world are your programmers smokin' these days. I would just as soon open up Edge or Chrome and did up the passwords I need to log into my banking and creditcard accounts...heck, it seems like MAYBE I should just dump Firefox after almost 20 years and just use those other browsers. At least there instructions are much simpler that this ol' man can follow. Please have someone review your published helps info on your webpages, and help those Sr. citizens like me to more easily find what we need without calling up grandsons or granddaughters for help (their parents are worse than I am at most techy stuff!) I cannot get Firefox to sync my bookmarks to to my new android. Other things are syncing so I know sync is working it just will not sync the bookmarks. I have tried everything. I have checked my sync settings a dozen times. I've signed out and signed back in on both devices. I have even uninstalled on both devices while signed out and reinstalled and still I cannot get the bookmarks on my phone. Please help! It's a Galaxy s21 and I am on windows 10

First off it set the search bar and menu at the bottom of the screen and I didn't know how to change that. Then I couldn't sync with all my account passwords and bookmarks previously saved on other apps. I had to delete the app because the idea of privacy is great and all but I need to get access to my preferred websites and accounts easily. If you can provide an easy fix I will give the app another try.

I want to see my mobile tabs in my desktop browser. But I want to keep my desktop tabs local: I do not want them to be synced or accessible from outside my local environment at all.

How do I do this with Firefox Sync?

my usernames and passwords are not syncing....i have all my passwords and usernames saved on my pc....and I’ve synced all passwords and logins and can view them on both devices. ‘Autofill in Firefox’ and ‘Autofill in other apps’ are both on. But, when logging in to apps on the Samsung, autofill doesn’t work. Even if I fill in my email address, there is no password suggestion. Instead, a small dropdown message appears: ‘unlock Firefox’. It isn’t active, and doesn’t open anything when I tap on it. Result: I have to go looking for the passwords and fill them in manually. I hope there’s a solution. thank u in advance for your help. LL

Well, I scan the qr code, I login in the Website, it sends me to the account settings, and then nothing. Still not logged in to Firefox. Im using graphene OS, maybe it's some permission issue?

Neither "Ready to scan" nor "Use email instead" will log me into my account in Firefox. When I try to log in, I'm only logged into my account in that one single tab that I used for it, Firefox accounts says it's "Chrome Mobile 84". I'm unable to get Firefox itself to log in to my account at all.

I'm trying to follow the directions to sync my ipad and my samsung phone to the firefox browser on my computer and it's not working. When I go into the menu on my phone and ipad the "Sync and Save" option is not there
