How can I log into my account when Mozilla has locked it? You list no e-mail address, phone number, I have spent alot of time today trying to unlock my account? Why would I want to donate $ to Mozilla, when the customer service is so poor? My account username is [email address]. This is also my e-mail address. I would like to get my account unlocked so I can sync my passwords.

Whenever I do anything with email I get a message "not responding" which causes a delay for a few minutes before it proceeds This occurs with almost every action Open email, delete email, browse a different folder (eg Inbox to Sent) it suddenly started happening yesterday

As of this morning I am no longer able to download or send email via my Spectrum email account. A warning message appears next to the account name reading 'The certificate for mobile.charter.net:993 does not come from a trusted source.' The section from the View Certificate page makes it seem like the certificate should be valid:

Spectrum of course says it's an issue with my email client. Adding an exception for mobile.charter.net does work, but that doesn't seem like a good long-term solution. When I attemt to get a certificate for the server, I get a 'No Information Available - Unable to obtain identification status for this site'. I am not using a mail scanner and my only anti-virus is Windows 11 built-in Virus & Threat Protection. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I love the browser and use it daily with Android phone and Linux laptop.

Concerning the new Android version, it is great. But please, bring back the select all tabs function. I like to save and backup my tabs by sharing them externally, and selecting them one by one is a very slow process.

I would like to ask for clarification regarding the distribution of Firefox through third-party packaging methods.

As I understand it, Mozilla's trademarks and branding are protected, and in some cases official permission may be required to distribute Firefox under the Firefox name and branding.

Within the Ubuntu Touch community, there is a method called "Crackle" that can repackage existing applications and make them available as installable "Clickable" packages on the platform. One of the applications that has been repackaged in this way is Firefox.

However, this Firefox package is currently not available in the Ubuntu Touch software store because there is concern that distributing it may require explicit permission from Mozilla.

My question is therefore:

Does a project or community need Mozilla's permission to distribute a repackaged version of Firefox through a software store? If so, what would be the correct process for obtaining such permission? Alternatively, if the software is merely being repackaged to provide an installation method on another platform, without modifying Firefox itself, is additional permission still required?

We would appreciate any clarification regarding Mozilla's policies on redistribution, repackaging, and trademark usage in this context.

For a few weeks now, trying to to type anything while using Firefox on android mobile is an exercise in frustration and insanity. It makes me want to tear my hair out. I type part of a word, and then it suddenly adds the autocompleted word after the end of the letter I already typed. It also keeps screwing up after apostrophes: I type "The car is Jo's car" for example, and suddenly the cursor makes a space after "Jo", but the cursor moves to behind the "s". The end result looks like "The car is Jo' car"s

I'm not making this up, it literally happened while typing the above line and I decided to leave it like that for you to see. Typing in firefox right now is maddening.

Latest android Firefox application downloaded from google play, does not show the VPN Yes i tried all options on settings. and there is no access to about:config to change browser.ipProtection.enabled to true as it solved same problem at all Firefox for windows browsers, No access to any about:policies studies etc..

Studies is enabled at settings but no VPN there.

after reading ALL (official forum blog support and unofficial last month) pages and posts about that and did all I could.

Regional irrelevant as SAME WiFi I easily enable VPN on Firefox for windows as I explained above but again I am writing about ANDROID so all replies try to control yourself and not copy paste answers help for windows Firefox and irrelevant for android firefox.

Please only answers from experienced same issue or you manage to recreate it and solve it or if it work for your Firefox for android and you are using an older version please help.

My browser was recently updated to 150.0.2, and on the new launch page after update describing new features, it prompted me that the new free mozilla vpn was available to try. When I clicked on the link to follow the steps to set it up, it said to click the vpn icon in the toolbar, but I don't see that icon there. When I go to more tools -> customize toolbar to try to find that icon to add it back, it doesn't appear among the toolbar options. Is this something I still don't have access to because it's in a limited beta, or is there some other way I should be accessing this?

Zur Zeit verfolge ich die Änderungen bezüglich der externen Schlüsselverwaltung in Thunderbird-Beta, da das Arbeiten mit externen Schlüsseln in der esr- und in der relesease-Version von Thunderbird seit der offiziellen Herausgabe von gpg2.5.x absolut nicht mehr möglich ist! Die geheimen Schlüssel für das Entschlüsseln und Signieren werden mit gpg2.5.x nicht mehr gefunden!

In der Schlüsselverwaltung von TB-Beta befinden sich meine öffentlichen Schlüssel und alle öffentlichen Schlüssel meiner Kommunikationspartner. Extern sind meine geheimen Schlüssel gelagert. Folgende Präferenz wurde aufgrund von gpg2.5.x hinzugefügt:

Mit Herausgabe von Thunderbird/148.0 (release) sind dort die gleichen Probleme mit der externen Schlüsselverwaltung zu bepbachten!

Mit Versionen gpg < 2.5 funktioniert unter Windows alles problemlos!

UNTER LINUX haben hier Änderungen an der Präferenz: "mail.openpgp.load_untested_gpgme_version" nachweislich keinerlei Auswirkungen!

Was übersehe ich?

At the moment, I’m following the changes regarding external key management in Thunderbird Beta, because working with external keys in the ESR and release versions of Thunderbird has become absolutely impossible since the official release of gpg 2.5.x! The secret keys required for decryption and signing are no longer found when using gpg 2.5.x!

In Thunderbird Beta’s key manager, my public keys and all public keys of my communication partners are present. My secret keys are stored externally. The following preference was added because of gpg 2.5.x:

However, even after all these measures, the following error message appears: **"The secret key that's required to decrypt this message is not available."**

With the release of Thunderbird 148.0 (release), the same problems with external key management can be observed there as well!

With gpg versions **older than 2.5**, everything works flawlessly under Windows!

Since last update...the reaction emojis on Facebook are blacked out. The entire bar of emojis are not visible. It is all black. Yet the words are visible when hovered over. There seems to be nothing wrong with the FB site and it has been suggested it could be the browser. So if you have any reports of glitches like this ...would be nice if you could fix. Logging in to Twitter/X is no longer possible as of a couple of days ago. After entering the username, pressing the "Next" button does nothing. Using the Desktop or Mobile version of the site makes no difference.

For the past two days I haven't been able to get past the recaptcha on several sites (Facebook, Instagram). I have tried all the workarounds other users have provided and what Google has offerd to no avail. I'm also having a difficult time accessing my hotmail acct from Firefox as well. I don't seem to have this issue with either of these problems if I move to a different browser. Firefox has always been my main (and only) browser, yet more and more often I seem to have issues anymore. What the F is going on? Would appreciate any help I can get. Again, I've tried removing Ad Blockers from these sites and even turned off the 'Enhanced Tracking' thing on the address bar; none of this works.

Hello Mozilla Support Team, I am writing because my primary email address associated with my Mozilla/Firefox account has been compromised and I no longer have any access to it. Unfortunately, this prevents me from performing basic account management tasks. Specifically: • I would like to add and verify a new email address (*censored@outlook.com) as a secondary email so I can later promote it to primary. • However, when trying to add any secondary email, Mozilla sends a verification code/link to the current primary email address — which I cannot receive anymore. • As a result, I am completely locked out of updating or securing my account, even though I can still log in with my password (and possibly 2FA if set up). My new desired primary email is: *censored@outlook.com I have read the official documentation (e.g., https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-primary-email-address-firefox-accounts and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ive-lost-my-firefox-sync-account-information), which states that changing the primary email without prior secondary email setup is not possible for security reasons when the old primary is inaccessible. Questions: 1. Is there any exception, manual verification process, or alternative recovery method available in cases of compromised/lost primary email access? (For example, through identity verification, account recovery key if I have one, or support-assisted change?) 2. If no recovery is possible, can you please confirm that creating a brand-new Mozilla account with *censored@outlook.com is the only remaining option, and advise on how to best migrate my synced data (bookmarks, passwords, history, etc.) if still accessible on my devices? I understand the security implications and that Mozilla prioritizes protection against unauthorized changes — I just want to regain full control and secure my data properly. since updating my firefox browser I am having trouble with both instagram and facebook. The pages won't load regularly and when they do load - it is only partial pages. Have tried to find solutions to fix this. These are the only two websites that I'm having an issue with. What can I do?

I continually get error messages for webpages. I turn off my VPN, clear my history. Not sure what else I need to do. Last one was the webpage for Lindt Chocolate. Come on. Why am I getting error messages for this? I have been on this page before. There are other places also, like Macys. Getting fed up with Firefox.
