How do I add the icon for an add-on which is not shown when I click on "customize toolbar"? When I click customize toolbar the result does not show any of the icons for add-ons/extensions.

I find the default view when searching for a keyword very overwhelming. There's a button that translates "show results as list" (my language is German) which leads to a much better view of the emails containing the key word. How can I make it the default search view? Thanks!

Currently using Firefox Nightly version 111.0a1 for Android now when trying to open a link in another app it always shows a popup to confirm.

This was not present in previous releases and I don't know if there is a way to prevent this popup as it makes it uncomfortable. Is there an option I may be missing to disable this feature? If not, could an option like this be introduced?

I want to be able to control when firefox updates are done. many times, i try to sign on for a quick task. The firefox updates immediately kick-in and cannot be stopped. this prevents me from accomplishing my intended task in a timely manner. I want to do the updates on MY schedule, not Firefox's.

Hi Team - I would like to change the primary email address on this Mac Mini to the one I use on other devices. When I add the secondary email address I get a message, "Account already exists" and the address is not accepted. I guess I could Delete Account and start again but that seems a bit drastic and I don't know what data might be lost. Any pointers please? Thanks, Ian.

I am starting to hate your updates.

Every time settings are removed, things are changed, using becomes more complicated and there is no guidance. Once it wiped out all of my saved bookmarks. Every. Single. One. Hundreds of hours of research gone.

After this last one, my new tab page settings disappeared along with all of the shortcuts. My bookmarks in the header also disappeared. Where did they go? Unknown. How to change this? Unknown? That option no longer appears in the settings menu. Or if it does, it was renamed/relocated. I looked everywhere it should logically appear.

Why make using your browser more complicated? I get tired of having to rebuild my browser settings every time you folks update. When an update includes drastic changes, we should be warned and instructions for accessing the old settings included.

Hello, somehow I had default setting to delete old messages and lost some important ones. However, when I look for the sender of a deleted message in the search box, it gives me the result for a non-existing email, see the attachment.

How is it possible? Is there any way to recover the message? I would appreciate any help.

I'm running Thunderbird v 102.5.1 in Windows 11 pro. How can I make the scroll bar on the righthand side of the program wider? The current vertical scroll bar is nearly invisible and I would like it to be the same width as all other apps running in Windows. I have found nothing that relates to this current version that addresses the issue or offers a solution. Can this be adjusted in the config editor? If so where?

I have used Thunderbird for years and recently it has started arbitrarily changing folders to threaded view.

The process of using mailnews.default_view_flags for new folders is ok, until Thunderbird randomly changes them back to threaded view. The process of column header on the far right to change a folder back to threaded view works for a while, until Thunderbird randomly changes them back to threaded view. The question is two fold: 1) Why does Thunderbird arbitrarily change folders to threaded view? 2) How can Thunderbird be stopped from arbitrarily changing folders to threaded view?

Is there a way for the new window animation in Firefox for Mac to be disabled?

Safari does not do this, but firefox has a... ~100ms animation for new windows that's extremely frustrating for those of us who do not use tabs (Apple's Exposé/Mission Control obsoletes them).

I haven't found a configuration in about:config, although I've been able to disable a few others.

I know my Firefox (Win 10) blocks ads because I can see where they were supposed to be. Also, Youtube ads at the beginning of a video last only 1 or 2 seconds. But I've forgotten how I achieved that. I can find no evidence of an ad blocker on my computer or my Firefox browser. How can I find out how ads are blocked?

Hi, All my folders are missing - 30+ in my left side panel. I switched my main email account to a different ISP. Came back into TB and all my folders are missing. I readded my new ISP same domain email account and moved it to top and default, etc. No folders? Tried Safe mode, subscribing, etc. I believe they are all imap settings - mostly gmail type accounts. Everything is displaying on left side, just can't get folders to re-appear. All the email accounts are there. If I open an email account and select important within that email itself, the emails are displayed as if I were in the folder. Sooo, they are there, just don't know how to get them visible again. Thanks for any assistance.... frustrating - after 2-3 hours of trying myself, I am finally seeking help!! L( Bernie

Currently mail.folder_widget.max_recent is set to 25 but I only have a maximum of 5 recent folders showing in the 'move to'/'copy to' command
