Trying to add twc email to this email manager first said UN /pw not correct , finally changed password still not going thrgoogle states change email charter area to mail.twc.com still won't go thru. Twc is my main email so if it won't load up I'll have to use something else what else can I do? Thanks Lora

Did ask forum for help on 12/9/2025, and though there was some info on line to solve my problem, I was unable to understand it, or proposed solutions did not work.Tried now to log into mozilla account, but cannot find any section about any replies. As problem driving me crazy, will try again.
1 When emails come in, instead of the sender being shown in the from box, it gves me at pethen.riseup.net as the sender. 2 If i click on any link in the text of the email which I need to access, this function does not work. All that appears is the link text I click on gets surrounded by a text edit box (ie a thin square line with small boxes you can put an arrow on to change shape of box for editing 3 a yellow banner appears at the base of any email reading " a unique identity matching the from address was not found. + "the messagewill be sent using the current from field and settings from identity peter hendry<pethen@riseup.net> 4 My other emailaddress linked to my mozilla thunderbird client has no problems. This has to be such a simple problem relating to the account set up which for some reason my PC has taken into itself to change, either text in my address books do not match, or I have ticked a wrong bos in the setup, or not ticked one at all,

Can't find any way to cancel Mozilla VPN. It is not working. Cannot find ANY help to resolve the issue. It hasn't worked in over a year, and it just renewed. Not really wanting to pay for something that is not working, and has not worked for over a year, and there appears to be no real help to remedy this problem. Pretty easy request... I want to cancel, and would like the refund (30 days that you advertise, and be done with Mozilla. Please make my day and cancel this subscription and refund my money.

I recently switched my email DNS / hosting and want to edit the IMAP server / password without deleting/re-adding the account. When I go to my account settings, I don't see any fields for editing the IMAP server and password for an existing email account. Which is irritating. Am I missing something? I guess if you email me, I won't receive it since I have already switched over my email DNS.

I'm trying to set up my thunderbird client (Version 147.0) to work with my Google Workspace. I understand that I should choose OAuth as the login method. The problem is that the option is not available when I try to create the account. There are only "normal password", "Encrypted password", "Kerberos/GSSAIP", "NTML" and "TLS certificate". When creating a new account with the email provider @gmx.de, after entering my name, email address, and password, it is confirmed that this combination is found in the Mozilla ISP database. (1)
After clicking the 'Done' button (2), an error message is displayed (3).
I can log in to the email account using the same credentials via a browser.
What could be the cause of this behavior?

I have a working Thunderbird email account on a windows 10 computer. I recently bought a new windows 11 computer and downloaded Thunderbird from the Thunderbird site. I installed it on the new computer and tried setting up my email. It fails in auto and manual setup. Since I have a working account on the windows 10 computer, I should be able to look at the settings and transfer them to the new computer. I am 76 years old and have a difficult time with today's technology. If someone can assist me, I would be grateful and co-operate fully. Thank you.

Hi All,
My name is Chris and I’ve been struggling for the past 3 days to add my Gmail account into Mozilla Thunderbird, and it’s become urgent. My computer often crashes and freezes, so I deleted my Gmail from an earlier version of Thunderbird and reinstalled the latest version.
When I try to add the account, Thunderbird just says “Looking up configuration of my Gmail” and never completes the setup. Oddly enough, I was able to add the same Gmail account into Outlook without any issues.
Is there something wrong with Thunderbird’s automatic server configuration for Gmail?
On top of that, I’d like to download all my past Gmail emails (sent items and inbox storage) into Thunderbird, but I don’t know the correct manual settings to use.
Any guidance on fixing the account setup and the proper manual IMAP/POP settings would be greatly appreciated.
