Hello! Seriously considering Thunderbird after the recent refresh and am super delighted to see your collective contributions. A big thanks at the outset! I handle about 100 emails a day (both in and outbound) and have to keep going to the sent box towards the close of the day to delete all emails which i had to respond to but have no future use for. Could you introduce a feature in Thunderbird where the user is asked whether he/she wishes to save the email just after sending it? A "yes" retains the email in the sent box while a "no" does not. That way, i dont have to go to my sent box and go through numerous emails at the end of the day to keep my mailboxes clean.

Secondly, could you introduce the ability to compose signatures within the application itself please?

When i send my message with TB i receive from the server the following error message. The response of the server is : Message rejected for policy reason Verify your messge and retry again.

Recently my outgoing messages have started being directed to my Local Folders sent folder and not retained in my email account sent folder? Is there a stting to correct this

When I turned on my computer today none of my emails are coming in or going out I have not changed anything I went thru the trouble shooting and nothing changed Not sure where to even start

I have Thunderbird on my PC and on my Mobole Phone. When I load my emails on my phone, check them and delete those of no interest, they still remain in the Inbox in Thunderbird on my PC and vice versa. Why? Is it possible to link so that deleing on one also applioes to the other?

I recently received an update on my Iphone 14. I have files set up to see on my phone that mirror my desk top. When I drop an email into a file I can see it on my desktop but it does not appear on my Iphone. Please help me figure this out as I do a lot of business on my phone and must be able to access these out of office.

My thunderbird email layout has changed for the sender column. It used to just show the sender's name, now it shows their whole name along with their email address. I liked the way it was before, just showing name.

Now it's very cluttered up and hard to read for me personally. I tried my best to find an answer in the forum on how to bring it back to the way it was before, but with no luck. Thanks for your help! Jami

(Windows 10 PC) Certain senders (generally groups/special interest/etc.) always go to Spam. I've tried right-clicking/ Not Junk over and over, to no avail. Always the next message is in Spam. Or Junk. I'm at a loss; what can I do so I receive messages in Inbox, as they should be?

I am having intermittent problems with inbound email messages showing only the "Subject" and everything else blank.

This only happens with emails from known persons or groups, and does not seem to happen with spam mail, or advertising and news email.

My email folder is nearing 200GB. Could this be the problem ? I also have an aging laptop, would moving my email to a new machine with better processing power fix this....???

Hoping someone else has seen this issue and can help.

Hello, (I'm french and not very good at english, please excuse me). Since Microsoft changed the protocole for email with hotmail, I can't receive or send messages from thunderbird on my computer (W10). Is there a solution? Could you explain the steps to configure Thunderbird with hotmail? Thanks for answers. Best regards Maice
