I am on medical marijuana and I cannot use the site because email says I needs a new browser. Without this new browser I cannot get anything from the Medical Marijuana. Everything from the state goes through the email system. There Is a problem with my medical card. It is not working. I have been trying for over a week to get the code I need to open the site and order a new card. I was told that the fasted way to do this is to go through Lost or Stolen card. Cannot get where I need to go because of my email needs a new browser. I am on loop and cannot get off the merry-go-round without help, so please help me.

When I tried to go through, google wanted me to use a new address. bonniegeo346, however bonnie123geo@ gmail works. Does it matter which I use?

Initially, firefox denies my profile registered with version 129 (probably) because current version is 130 in this new computer. I succeed in turning back partly to 129 but probably without some files necessary for snap. The profile is OK but firefox works wrong. Updates are no longer possible and Ubuntu proposes to migrate towards version 24.04 LTS. Is either the good way or an other solution exists ? Thanks to best hint.

The other day I received an email from Mozilla suggesting I move from Thunderbird ESR to the Release version (Windows 11). I backed up my profile and installed Release 139.0.2. The following error is now popping up periodically in Thunderbird: "The folder 'Inbox on [myemailaddress]' could not be compacted because writing to folder failed. Verify that you have enough disk space, and that you have write privileges to the file system, then try again."

I do not think this message is really related to disk space (there's plenty available) or file write privileges since nothing should have changed. I see that others have encountered this message where Thunderbird is trying to compact other folders. However, I did not see a solution applicable to my situation.

Thank you, in advance, for any insight in getting rid of this error.

I would like to know if there will be the monthly releases available as .deb package. I use the mozillateam's PPA, but I just get the latest ESR version there, and I would like to get the latest monthly releases, like we get with Firefox. Maybe create an official apt repository, similar to the one we have for Firefox?

I shut everything down clicked on the update button - seemed to download and message had said restart so I did - then I noticed all my book marks were gone. Are they hidden ? Can I get them back?

I've been using 128.11.1esr. I just tried Release again, 139.0.2. It wakes up with none of my profile settings. No accounts, no email. Just looks like an initial empty launch. I'm switching back.

Should I be doing anything other than just downloading and launching the new version? Or is the Release version really this bad?

Every time I open Firefox recently, and the Yahoo.com web page starts up, I get an annoying prompt from global privacy control, that asks to allow or not allow. IT'S ANNOYING. I went into the settings for that apparent add on feature, that I DIDN'T add, and set all 5 settings to FALSE, but the program still pops up. It ALSO screws up the format of the Firefox web page, and shows the Yahoo News feed totally different and it's also VERY ANNOYING HOW do I totally get rid of the global privacy control? I can select the Firefox settings under security to tell web pages to not sell the info, as far as I know, correct, so I don't need the retarded global add on? ?? I want Firefox news feed like it was before the update. Thank you very much... HOPEFULLY!

I recently donated to TBird but it is unable to send any emails. So I uninstalled it and tried to download a fresh copy but I couldn't avoid the donating page. I paid again but I just get a page telling me to finish downloading - but not how to do so. I've waited half an hour but nothing has been downloaded. If it's still possible to download TBird, how can I do it - preferably without repeatedly paying?

I got GREAT instructions from "David" just a few minutes after posting my question (Thanks, much, David : ). I followed his directions and was able to transfer LOTS of emails to a second computer. But the emails are from 2020-2021. The computer I copied the roaming file from goes up to today, 11/29/2024. How can I a get all the emails from 2021 up to 2024 installed on the second computer? I turned my laptop on this morning and Thunderbird disapeared! It looks as though an auto update failed after the .exe file etc had been deleted. How can I re-instal (via my desktop if necessary which I am on here) without losing all my settings. The profile appears to be intact. Having re-installed, how do I connect to the profile which is on a separate disk?

I am still using Thunderbird release 78.6.0 (32 bit), (Dec 2020) on my HP/Windows 10. I would like to update, and I've copied profile, but I am worried about any difficulties. I was reluctant to update over the years because online I read about crashes and not getting the email program to work again. Or having to reload manually every contact or other issues that would be so tedious that I didn’t want to engage with the update process. If I can update slowly from one version to the next without problems, that’s fine. I would look forward to some improvements in the available formatting options but otherwise I really don’t care about integrated extensions or features. I mostly interested in the formatting that is available in Outlook. Thank you, KathyO

Is there a set of instructions I can use to help me sort out login and settings problems. A wizard would be ideal but I am not starting from scratch, I just want to fix up errors I may have caused by changing settings on my accounts in order to overcome problems which have occurred recently. My original emails were with TPG who got taken over by the Message company. I had an idea that oauth2 was possibly involved in the problem, so I havechanged settings and now don't know how to fix it.
