This hang is not consistent. I have been switching back and forth to get details for this thread with no issue. But very frequently when I have switched away from Firefox to another app and then returned to Firefox the app has completely frozen. I can see everything clearly but can do nothing at all (neither the web page or Firefox). I haven't yet identified a pattern.

132.0.2 has Relay and CashRewards installed. 133.0b8 is vanilla.

I'm using gesture controls on HyperOS to switch apps.

No issues with any other apps.

Is this where I report such things?

As the title says, I got a problem with Android version of Firefox that sometimes on some webpages it just hangs and doesn't load the page at all. While it's hanging there if i try to open extension settings it doesn't even load that, just opens blank page. Only way around it is to close tab and try again later. Sometimes i can just close tab and on next try it works, sometimes it just doesn't. I've had same issue with PC version of Firefox and it seems to be fixed after disabling HTTPS over DNS. On Android I've tried changing network.trr.mode to 5 but with no luck. Also ive tried disabling extensions and changing some options but whatever I do it just still keeps happening. Btw its a new install after years of not using Firefox, perhaps because of the same issue.

Listening to audiobooks made me notice this problem, often whilst my phone is turned off and the audiobook is playing in the background on a tab on firefox the audio would just stop and i would find either that firefox was still open but unloaded all the tabs, or that it simply crashed. I thought this was a thing that solely happened when playing audio in the background but then i noticed that it is actually a general problem when firefox is kept open in the background. It doesnt happen after a set amount of time, sometimes it happens immediately, sometimes after like 10 minutes that it is kept in the background. How can i fix this? its very annoying.

All of a sudden with the past week or so I've been having problems writing emails because as I type my words get cutoff and I have to wait for a second or two to start entering letters again. It happens all of a sudden and even occurred when I was entering data to join the forum just now. I looked at the tasks that were running to see if anything there was impacting the performance of the system and found tasks labeled "FirefoxCP Insulated Web Content" running and eating up CPU cycles, up to 48% while in priority position. Sometimes I had up to 6 of these tasks going at one time. What is going on and how can I correct this situation because it's impacting my ability to use any functions that require data entry.

Reading the Guardian via browser and the page freezes at least twice in one session. Have cleared cache.

After the version 149, a very strange issue happens to me with Firefox. When I try to log in to some services (Google account, WhatsApp, Mozilla account) the browser freezes. That does not happen if I turn the hardware acceleration off so I essentially thought there is some issue with my graphics drivers which I then updated (Nvidia 580.142 drivers for Geforce GTX 960). But what is very strange is that the issue isn't present when I use Firefox in private mode! That means: Normal mode, HW acceleration on -- freezing Normal mode, HW acceleration off -- not freezing Private mode, HW acceleration on -- not freezing I switched to the ESR version now which works fine too. Still, I am curious about what is going on and I would like to find a solution. My system is fully updated Arch Linux. I cannot share my data since I can't log in to my Mozilla account.
