Currently, I use Firefox version: 116.0.2 or v117.0 on Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS.

I encountered a phenomenon like this:

• When I logged in to the application, in the tab I was working on, the Firefox session memory was lost (don't open new tabs)

Steps: 1. Login to the application 2. Operate on the screen 3. Navigate to other URLs, but still on this tab 4. Session storage was lost

What is the cause of this phenomenon? How can I fix it?

Firefox works great on every other video site. But Youtube will not show or play video. I have refreshed Firefox, disabled add on. Restarted my computer, tested all hardware. No Bueno...

Hi, I'm having issues with my Google search results page. It used to be very clean looking and mainly only showing the results of whatever I searched. Today though, I searched something and now the Google results are first showing Reddit answers, what others have asked, discussions and forums, what others have searched, short videos, etc. I have to scroll really far down just to get some normal search results. How can I fix this? Call me old school but I want the classic version back. Please help, I don't want to switch browsers. I've been using Firefox nearly since it's launch, since StumbleUpon days. Everytime i try to watch a video it says it can't play or it just sits there buffering. Youtube works but only lower quality, but every other site i go on doesn't. Twitch won't load, other sites show Error Code: 102630. This is only a problem on my browser on my windows pc I have. On mobile the browser works great and has no problem showing videos so it a problem for my pc browser.. I've tried all of the steps, i've updated, i checked drm and even went into config to check there. But nothing works, it still can't load videos. I have version 125.0.3 and for me it's the latest one. I even turned off all of my add-ons to check if it works or not but nothing there either. It worked before, just now the latest two months it hasn't. What can I do in order for the videos to load? Thank you for your time.

I've reported these issues before with no response. I've uninstalled reinstalled cleared cache and cookies searched another forums et cetera. Why must I manually update when it's set to auto update? When I set controls to ask where to download items it bypasses that and downloads it as a temp file where I have to cut it out of explorer and paste it where I would like to save it.

I would like to be able to make sure if a pop-up window is blocked, that I'm being notified about it, but there are no options in settings.

I read through the instructions listed on the help pages and found a message from support from 4 years ago about manually editing the settings, which wasn't helpful.

Are they just on by default now? Or did they get turned off and if so, how do I turn them back on?

(p.s. having something teach you how to do something, this case getting trouble shooting data manually, should open another window, not navigate me away from the page I'm sending this message from)

Thunderbird will not start. Message Can't Load XPCOM. Windows 10. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird multiple times. No change. Have deleted the Thunderbird folder in Program Files and reinstalled Thunderbird. No change.

I want to enable cookies for outlook and google, the rest I dont want.

I have attempted to look at the cookie's url for outlook and add that to the exception list, but outlook still harasses me with its annoying 2fa

How do I find the actual address to put in the exceptions list to stop this issue?

So on my macbook when I enable fullscreen the anmation is super weird. first it stretches the video to the top and then just expands to the whole screen, when I go out of fullscreen is stretches to the bottom and then goes out off fullscreen. for example on safari it just expands the video until it takes up the whole screen. I have gone in about:config and disabled the fullscreen animation but that did nothing.

I've got a really old MacBook Pro that's still running 10.13, and Firefox has started displaying a nag screen telling me that this version is no longer supported, and to install a newer version of MacOS.

Is there something in the advanced settings that will stop it nagging me? I now know it's not going to get any more updates, there's no need to keep telling me every 20 minutes...

(Note to the devs: a "don't remind me again" checkbox would be nice for things like this!)

I've recently had a little video window appear in the bottom right corner of my browser screen. I can't find any control link to eliminate it other than closing it manually every time it appears. Where did it come from and how do I get rid of it?

When choosing biometrics for 2-factor authentication, sometimes Firefox will only prompt for a physical hardware key, and Touch ID does not work. Support for built-in biometrics is inconsistent.

For reference, I am using Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1 with an ARM processor.

Thank you for your assistance in advance. Since I updated my browser, I've encountered some issues when trying to maximize the virtual screen in my tv. I use a Mac and connect the screen to a web TV to watch YouTube in my big tv. However, when I click to maximize the window, the connection becomes unstable, and the virtual screen disappears every time I click the YouTube icon to do this. This problem never occurred before. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information from me.

The reminder function quit working...nothing at all

I'll add an appointment ask for a reminder, but nothing happens however it used to work

I used to get a reminder email as well as a notice sent to my phone, but now nothing to include the folks I have invited to the event. No reminders for anyone. I have checked Notify Attendees and Separate Invitation per attendee on the Edit Event pop up the by nothing I do seems to work.

The goal is to get the reminder to the phone screen(s) and emails.

Whenever I select tab and then start typing in the page search box it automatically jumps to the URL/Address bar. This is not only annoying but it makes it difficult for me to see what I'm typing, and it often results in unwanted typing errors. I have yet to encounter a single longtime Firefox user who thinks this is a good idea, but I have met several who've decided to drop Firefox and start using Chrome just to be done with it. I've been using Firefox since early 2005 and I've mostly been happy with it but this is just to annoying to continue. I'm complaining because the feature exits, I'm complaining because there's no option to opt for those of us who find it annoying and will never become comfortable with it.

If there is a working fix that I've been unable to find, then please point me to where or what it is so that I can apply it.
