Hi; Having many issues in the new Ver. 115 Can not send some emails, some work some don't? Emails not showing up in sent mail folder? Some do some don't. Very inconsistent. Very strange and inconsistent Issues such as can not send with 1 email account but can with another even though both use the same outgoing server. When switching folders they now go to oldest message. Archived Folders have disappeared (started a new thread on this)

What the H*** is going on? Is there a fix?

Hello all together! I have a question concerning the grouped folder functionality in TB 115. I use TB for some years now and updated to the latest version 115 the other day and the installation worked fine. All my accounts are still there and synchronize as before. But when I switch to the grouped folder view I do not see any mails there in the inbox. No content from any of my accounts at all. Also I can not find any swith in the grouped inboxfolder settings that allows me to check if the accounts are "in" there. I hope that you have some ideas for me, what is going wrong and how I can fix it. I attach two screenshots that hopefully describe the issue sufficiently.

After downloading an email from my gmail account thunderbird uses 90% of ram and is essentially frozen. Initially after starting Thunderbird is not responding followed by a slow increase in ram usage to about 90% is ibserved. Tried uninstall and install; but not change in behaviour. Any suggestions of how to repair would be welcome.

slow, must reboot consistantly. Win10

This program is deeply flawed. It's slow & must be rebooted multiple times a day. Then at times it works just fine. What's the problem & how to fix? The address book doesn't show what folder you put a contact in. The old version did. This is a flaw too.

TB upgraded to 115.0.1 this morning, (although PCMatic has been telling me this had happened yesterday). Now I find that Search (Ctrl-Shift-F) no longer gives consistent results, and never end searching.

Connection to outlook.office365.com server timed out.

Hi, Started timing out connecting to my Microsoft email yesterday. Using TB 102.13.0 (64-bit). Is this a known issue? Is there a fix? Thanks.

While away from my computer for a few days, Thunderbird stopped retrieving new emails. I noticed this when I returned. I'm using imap to download from the server. Logging in to the server via browser shows that there indeed new emails. Quitting Thunderbird and restarting results in showing old emails and a spinner (slider?) on the Inbox tab that never stops. I have not changed configuration recently (I was away when this started). I followed a suggestion to delete cert9.db, key4.db, and logins.json. Doing this and restarting changed nothing. My understanding is that this should have deleted my server password information, but I was not prompted for a password on restart. I have uploaded a snapshot of the "Troubleshooting information" tab to pastebin:

Hey Team,

This is a problem that I have seen a few times over the years but is causing me some real headaches at the moment for one specific customer who uses TB.

The computers in question are fully patched windows 10 with TB 115 installed.

When clicking on an email header / selecting an email from the message list, sometimes, a different email body is loaded into the message pane. Sometimes moving the message to a different folder seems to resolve the issue but I'm not sure that this works 100% of the time. We have also had instances where an email has been replied to but the wrong email body has been included in the reply (bit if a data security concern...)

I am assuming that somewhere along the lines the link between the downloaded headers and the message bodies is getting out of sync. My current "fix" is to remove the account, remove the data then add the account back. This seems to fix things but doesn't seem like the right way to do it.

Can anyone offer any advise on either;

  1. How to prevent this from happening in the first place
  2. More efficiently re-sync all of the headers to bodies (assuming that this is the issue)

Help and advice, greatly received.

I have to use MSN now for my email server since your software no longer works!!! I can't send anything through your software now that you "upgraded" your TB software without my permission. Not sure why, but MSN is now saying that Outlook won't work with TB. So, good luck with that.

Set up your existing email address will not work. Thunderbird stopped working no outgoing no incoming. Deleted account then downloaded new Thunderbird. Entering correct name, correct email address and password (also tried with no password) finds set up on Mozilla ISP sever. Select 'Done' brings up message "Cannot log in to server.Probably wrong configuration, username or password".

This unsolvable for me now as I have tried everything I know and suggested in Help.

All incoming mail goes direct to JUNK, how do I correct it?

All of our incoming emails go directly to JUNK. I cannot find how to change settings to have the mail go to our InBox instead of Junk.

Just this week I can no longer access email via Thunderbird. My ISP (CenturyLink) warns that my account is being "processed" and please stand by. This has persisted for several days, with no change. I have twice contacted CenturyLink (Help Chat) - They tell me everything is fine on their end, and that I need to follow up with Mozilla. So, here I am. Any ideas for a fix?
