With the moving of Cox emails to Yahoo would it be feasible for Thunderbird to put an instruction list(with screenshots) of how to get all our TB email accounts from Cox to TB? Do we have to delete all our TB email accounts and re-enter them into TB under the new Yahoo or can we just change the server settings on the existing Cox settings? If just changing server settings what are the settings for the new yahoo? All my accounts are IMAP so if instructions could be made, maybe one for IMAP and one for POP for those who use either. Thank you

I have just moved several email accounts from Cox email to Yahoo and all is well for send/receive. I was setting up my unified folder and the SENT folder for the accounts will not show up in the unified sent folder for any account. I am pretty sure it was there before the migration. It is selected to be in the unified and in the folder options I have the sent going to that email sent folder. It is not listed in the unified section or in the lower section under the email list..Suggestion?

My Windows 10 Pro laptop computer crashed a couple of days ago and no longer works. I am considering replacing it with a new Macbook Air. My files are backed up with Carbonite. Will I be able to get my saved passwords back by restoring my Firefox profile to the proper folder on the Mac? (I already know that Carbonite's backup program will not do a "file restore" between Mac and Windows; I will likely be paying Carbonite an extra $100 so they can put my files on an external drive and ship i to me.) | (I have a lot of the passwords saved in Safari on my iPhone and old iPad mini 2, but there are some I did not want to save on the mobile devices. They are also not on the much older Windows laptop I am currently using. Therefore, I cannot access certain sites right now unless I am willing to change the passwords.)

The vast majority of the time, when I open a new tab, I want to go to a page I already visited. Unfortunately, I consistently have to press down arrow to get to what I'm looking for.
I already disabled any kind of search suggestion (settings screenshot attached), added the separate search field, but nothing I tried removed the "Search with DuckDuckGo" being the first suggestion. I pressed the down arrow so many times in my life because of this, I'm at a loss.
Am I missing something? Is there any way to get the history suggestions to be before ANY web search.

I have been trying to read article comments on Fox News Digital (https://www.foxnews.com), but the comments are not showing up. I am using a MacBook Air with Sonoma 14.1. I am using FireFox latest edition and have updated FireFox but comments are still not showing up. Comments do display in Safari logged in to foxnews.com or not. I would put a jpg in this request for assistance, but it wouldn't show much just a white space where the comments should be.

Similar to the issue described in this thread (https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/1240674), I am unable to open Firefox - it simply refuses to open. I've tried multiple times, the option key, and re-installing. Nothing seems to work, which suggests something about my user settings is the issue, but a) I am not keen on deleting this if possible and b) I won't delete my user settings unless that is necessary. Like the attached thread, I am happy to attach crash reports, but without the ability to even open Firefox properly it's not obvious how I do this - force-quitting it just sends a report to Apple.
Any help much appreciated - I'd quite like Firefox working again.

For a while now, I've been having recurring issues with Firefox desktop freezing and becoming totally unresponsive. If there's any pattern to what causes it, I haven't been able to notice it; sometimes it happens as soon as I open the browser, sometimes it happens after several hours, sometimes it happens twice in ten minutes, sometimes it happens twice in a few hours (however, I can count the number of days it's happened less than twice in one day in the past few weeks on the fingers of one hand). When the browser freezes, it becomes totally unresponsive - it doesn't fade or display "Not Responding", and Task Manager shows nothing abnormal, but it doesn't accept any input at all, any video or other animated material that may have been displaying freezes, and it can only be "fixed" by force quitting from the task manager and reopening. This is exclusively a firefox issue; other programs open at the same time as the browser freezes are not affected.
The only real lead I have as to what could be going on is that sometimes, things don't freeze all at once, but in a cascading effect. For example, tabs, bookmarks, etc. might not highlight when moused over, but still accept the clicks, or selecting another tab might causes the address bar to display the URL of the selected tab, but the screen displayed in the window will not change. Once these cascading changes start, they generally progress to total freeze before I have a chance to do much with that information (only a few seconds), but it's unusual enough behavior to be worth noticing.
Things I've already tried that haven't fixed the issue:

I have a Lenovo Win 11 notebook that now requires me to sign in each time I open Outlook or YouTube when I use the Firefox Browser. Edge and Chrome do not require a sign each time I use Outlook and/or YouTube. A setting in Firefox certainly seems to be the cause. I reinstalled Firefox, still same broblem.
A week or two ago I had no issues with Outlook and YouTube. It happens now every time I Open Outlook and YouTube.
I now use EDGE and have stopped using Firefox which has been my preferred browser for years.

Windows 10, fully updated with the latest firefox version. Email program is MS Outlook through my employer. Email notifications are overwhelmingly loud if the global volume is sufficient for viewing content. Playing with the volume mixer doesn't help. I have searched for solutions online, and every suggested fix entails features or options that are not available on my system. Please provide complete instructions for Windows 10. Please respond to lanzcc@potsdam.edu

My service provider is QX.net which uses Magic Mail web email. I have Firefox 115.ll, 64 bit. I have Thunderbird 115.11.1, 32 bit.
The Magic Mail on my Server shows 253 unread messages. I have identified some of those 253 messages in my Thunderbird folder and they have been read, and are shown as read in Thunderbird. There seem to be 3 different dates involved. This is a concern as it is unacceptable not to receive all of my messages.
Please advise what I can do to address this so that I receive all my messages and so that when I have read them they are shown as "read" in Thunderbird and in Magic Mail.

I sent a message a while back about slowness with 115, which I had to download because I had a crash.
There were various suggestions, but no solutions to the excessive slowness with 115. This culminated to day in a long 'no reply' mail which suggested the issue might be the virus checker.....
I checked again the various messages about 115 - most were archived, only one month since they were posted!!
Is there an issue with 115?? I saw a thread which asked was I having issues with it, my answer is yes, is there nobody out there with a suggestion??
