I have no idea how to fix a problem that just emerged in the last hour.

I can't download file attachments sent by email. Yesterday I could. I have been using Mozilla Firefox as my browser for more than 10 years. I tried restarting my computer that didn't help.

All of a sudden, I can't download any attachments, no matter what file type it is. I've reset Firefox to it's default, restarted, everything suggested. I don't have the first clue as to what this is.

Every time I sign into something using Firefox the recaptcha does not allow me to continue. If I switch to Google Chrome it works. Please help me to be able to use Firefox.

On my Macbook (macOS Sonoma 14.5), Firefox blocks populating parts of some websites whereas other browsers don't. For example, on my J. Crew Factory website account, when I click on "Order History," I get a blank page. Other browsers (Safari, Brave) correctly populate the info on my Order History. Why does Firefox block it?

When downloading a file in Facebook Messenger, Firefox changes file extension to .pdf. My case was .docx file but looking for help found people have problem with other formats, even non document saving as .pdf.

When I'm browsing, especially when shopping, say, Amazon, eBay, or Swanson Vitamins or wherever, FF opens a new tab which remains open to the right of the left-most original tab. Of course, when I + a new tab which I want it to stay open, it opens and, again, by itself, FF closes the first tab and the latter takes over the left-most spot. And, in case of eBay, when I click on an item I want to check, it keeps on opening a new tab on the original tab. Placing the cursor on FF icon on task bar displays all the tabs. I never had things like above happen with previous issue FF. Of, course, I don't know since which FF version was stable in the way I wanted. Does anyone know how to set FF to stop taking all these unwanted actions?

There is a hacker who accessed my Google account via Firefox about 10 hours ago, with the result my language setting has been switched to Korean. I live in Hong Kong and have never been to Korea, and I do understand Korean at all. Can you help pls? Thx.

I was able to use it normally before, but when I downloaded a file, the browser froze, so I used Task Manager to terminate Firefox and reopened it, and then I encountered this situation.

When I open the "Downloads" in Firefox, the browser hangs and prompts unresponsive. I have tried the troubleshooting mode, but it did not work, the problem still exists. I also tried to "Refresh Firefox", but this did not solve the problem either. I also tried to delete places.sqlite, but it was also ineffective. Then I created a new user profile, but the same situation occurred. I also tried to uninstall Firefox, delete AppData/Local/Mozilla and AppData/Roaming/Mozilla, and then reinstall it, but it also couldn't solve this problem. I've had this problem on both 126 and 125.

Looking for help to try and work out what is happening. Over the last few days, after powering up and browsing the internet everything works fine for a while. Main websites are Facebook, YouTube and continually clicking on bookmarked items. Normally only a few tabs are open at any one time. Then after some time, I open a new tab and get the

Gah. Your Tab Just Crashed message appear on the new tab and can not access any websites after this. The Close Tab, Restore Tab, Restore All Tabs do nothing.

I have to reboot the PC and start again.

I'm using the latest version 126.0.1 (64-bit).

• Tried running in Safe Mode, uninstalled Firefox and re-installed it, reverted back to 126.0 (64-bit) and same issue.

• I've cleared the cache and history

• Had Add Blockers, FB Purity and New Tab Override Extensions. Disabled these and still no success.

• I have AVG driver update installed and its telling me all the drivers are up to date.

• The problem seemed to start happening after an AVG update, so I have removed AVG Antivirus

The computer is an ASUS Vivobook Laptop, Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-1005G1 CPU @ 1.20GHz 1.19 GHz with 8GB ram.

For a week or better I have been unable to download anything through my Firefox browser, I have refreshed and uninstalled Firefox (I had to reinstall through another browser) in an attempt to fix this issue to no avail. I cannot download from verified sites, nor am I able to download Firefox's own extensions or themes (when I attempt I get an error telling me to check my connection, screenshot included).

I would like to be able to use Firefox normally again, with the ability to download files and install my extensions restored.

I did post this before, and Paul replied (thanks) but he didn't suggest a solution. When I add bookmarks to the Firefox Focus home screen, those icons are cut off, so the label is very difficult to read. If this is a bug then I reported it earlier to Bugzilla, but if it is not a bug then how can I fix it, please? Thank you.

The screenshot is missing in settings: I typed about:certificate and it is showing the DigiNotar Root CA - Server. I clicked on it,and it say "Explicitly Distrust DigiNotar Root CA.

The color on top of the Desktop is a blue gray color not black like it shows on the instructions steps when there is a picture showing the menu with instructions. I am getting a message when I open Firefox saying that "Open or Refresh Firefox" It has caused me a problem when clicking on it

Also, I don/t know if this the community help which I am trying to get help because of the problems I am having.

Hello, my browser keeps coming up with my location as Boydton, VA 23917, My actual location is Collegeville, PA 19426. Other browsers get my location correct, only Firefox continues to come up with Boydton, VA 23917. Could there be someone accessing my account in Boydton, VA 23917?

For months, now, whenever I try to post a comment on a Yahoo! News article, it reads: "Your comment has failed to published." This only happens in Firefox. My "Privacy & Security" settings are set to "Standard," my "History" set to "use custom settings for history" with settings "Remember browsing and download history" and "Clear history when Firefox closes." so cookies and cache get cleared then.

Sometimes this works when starting a new session. But I shouldn't have to start another session and lose all of my logins just to post a comment on a Yahoo News article.

Anyone else having this problem? Is there an easy and permanent fix? What are you settings set at?

I am encountering display issues with my WordPress website, which is dedicated to a fan-made game called Pokémon Infinite Fusion. The site appears to load correctly on other browsers like Chrome and Edge, but certain elements are not displaying properly on Firefox.

   Add-ons Disabled: Ran Firefox in Safe Mode with all add-ons disabled to see if any extensions were causing the issue.
   Responsive Design Mode: Used Firefox's Responsive Design Mode to check how the site renders on different screen sizes.
   Error Console: Reviewed the Error Console in Firefox to identify any specific errors or warnings.

What I Expected:

I expected that the website would display consistently across all browsers, including Firefox.

What Actually Happened:

Despite my efforts, certain elements on the site, such as images and interactive features, still do not display correctly on Firefox. These issues are not present on other browsers, which suggests a compatibility problem specific to Firefox.

Questions:

   Are there any known compatibility issues between Firefox and certain WordPress themes or plugins that might cause this problem?
   Could there be specific CSS or JavaScript practices that work in other browsers but not in Firefox?
   Are there additional tools or techniques in Firefox that I can use to diagnose and fix these display issues?

Hello, I want to add a secondary email to my Mozilla account. I have looked at the help page but can't get the first step of the instructions to work. See image 1 below.

This is the only "Burger" I can see, and I am Signed In to Support. See image 2 below.

This Menu does not have an option for "Manage Account"
