Thanks in advance for any insight or suggestions. My preferred browser is Firefox. In Chrome, I can easily use a voice search from www.google.com. In Firefox, the permissions show my preferred mic as enabled and selected for that webpage -- but no sound is detected. (Using Firefox. mic works fine at https://www.onlinemictest.com.)

(BTW, speaker output is Realtek motherboard audio and mic input is a Shure X2U USB interface. This mic works just fine in zoom, whereby, audition, etc. as well as working google.com using chrome)

Have worked through various settings in the SOUND panel and SITE PERMISSIONS with no luck.

Any ideas about this problem -- or what other settings to trouble shoot?

I'm trying to remove theme(s) but when I go to Add-ons Manager and select a theme I see no 'Remove' button. This goes for all themes I added. I'm using 115.11.0 (64-bit) Thunderbird.

Am I missing Something? James

I'm so annoyed by these notifications for utterly random websites / "news" that started after a recent update (see attached screenshot). I don't want these, bit also don't want to turn off notifications altogether. Thank you!

I can't deactivate the dark theme (the Themes Menu is inactive!), while another user has a light theme and works perfectly.

In addition, the writing of new messages is in white text on a white background!

How can I solve this problem. thank you in advance for your help

Ridiculous with the new update page saying " A browser that's truly yours My Firefox: More Speed, More Security, More Fun." WHEN YOU CANNOT TURN OFF THE IDIOTIC popup spam for the updates NOT EVEN GOOGLE CHROME DOES THAT. And ridiculous it has to LOAD THE UPDATE after restarting the browser lag time and IDIOTIC BRIGHT SCREEN FLASHING even if you have darkmode on, JESUS CHRIST this browser seems ridiculous and FAR WORSE THAN THE OTHERS WHEN EVEN CHROME IS BETTER with these settings and not being pointlessly ridiculous rofl. I'm on Win11. The recent releases of FF seem to have disabled my ability (while in FF) to bring my mouse to the lower area of my screen to have the Win11 lower task bar appear. In order to get here, I have to shrink FF via it's upper right hand shrink button, then in the Win11 home screen bring my mouse pointer down to the lower screen area to popup that task bar. Gemini suggests there's a compatibility setting related to issues with high res screens that FF has... but I can't find this switch/setting... maybe Gemini is hallucinating about this. (Curiously, Gemini insists that this is not a FF issue... despite the fact that it's the only app on my PC having this issue).

I am curious as to why Mozilla/Firefox doesn't seem interested in matching Chrome for addons for popular dropshipping apps such as CJDropshipping, DSers and AutoDS. These are well catered for in Chrome and allow easy import of products into stores such as Shopify. They save a lot of time for already busy store owners and staff yet Firefox loyalists are forced to switch over and use Chrome to make life easier and save time. For someone who has been using Firefox across both Linux and Windows since it's 2004 launch, it is galling and almost physically debillitating to have to resort to this each time. If I were any good at coding I would surely fix this serious shortcomming.

Please Mozilla look to this and provide us with better options.

I wanted to disable the "Moves the URL left or right". It turns out that this functionality won't be useful to me, but this shortcut is the one that I use the most :/

Currently the Outlook Web App on Windows and Web offers some sort of option to facilitate moving emails to specific folders by offering a search bar to look for a folder.

I installed the Facebook Container some time ago. But recently realized that Facebook is tracking me, because I'm getting targeted adds on FB. I have also had Firefox set to always use Private Browsing. Today I discovered that the Facebook Container dose not work in Private Browsing. SO, What is the best way to keep FB and others out of my business (short of not using FB)? All this time I thought I was protecting myself and I have not been. HELP!

Signature Request...

Don't automatically add the signature to every new message and reply. Provide the option to insert it at the cursor location with a shortcut key (eg: Ctrl/Shift/S).

Allow more than 1 signature. In my business, I use several "canned" statements depending on the recipient, issue, etc. Allow them to be inserted from a drop down list, say. The most used one (default?) would be inserted with Ctrl/Shift/S.

Thank you for your consideration! T-Bird is the best option i've tried since needing to abandon WinMail for lack of support.

Is there any other better way to export history.. I have tried sync.. but there seems to be some limitations in sync, it didn't sync all the history..
