I logged into my account on my mobile browser, and was able to see all my passwords and saved data that I had on my computer. I ended up signing by accident and when I logged back in all my passwords and bookmarks where gone. How can I restore them??

Just updated to TB 115.10.1 and right on update it now fails to show the most recent emails in the inbox, They are there as I can scroll up to them but it no longer does that on it's own when opening and downloading the latest.

Any suggestions to get it back to normal operating condition?

This has been happening for months now, on multiple devices (I have tried at least 3 different devices), and on multiple networks.

I have read the articles in here, but they just want me to check network configuration which is exactly the same for all browsers.

If I restart firefox it starts working again.

How can I prevent it from breaking randomly? This is the only browser having issues, I'm almost positive is some bug and not a configuration thing, given that it happens under multiple circumstances and devices, while Edge and Chrome simply keep working just fine.

There is no consistent repro I can give, afaik it is just random, at some point Firefox just decides to stop working and I have to restart it. This disrupts my work and browsing activities as I can lose progress on input forms and similar actions.

So with Google becoming an increasingly terrible company over the years I once again decided to try to move away from chromium based browsers and over to Firefox, but I'm still having the same problem as I did when I first tried. I have since found the source of the problem, or rather a more exact explanation of what is going on, but I still can not find a solution. Basically when I compare the audio of the same YouTube video while logged into the same account with the same settings the audio quality on chromium browsers seems better. After some testing I figured out that it has to do with Logitech's G Hub surround sound option. Using Logitech's surround sound on headsets that support it, the Pro X2 in my case, will change the audio quality by quite a lot, in my opinion it sounds better. The problem is that this change doesn't seem to have an effect when using Firefox.

Is this a known issue and if yes, is there a solution?

I recently purchased a new laptop and needed to migrate my old Thunderbird profiles. This is what I did: 1. Backed up profiles from old laptop 2. downloaded and installed latest version of Thunderbird on new laptop 3. coped profiles into \roaming directory 4. tested and successfully received emails and viewed all old emails.

The problem is that the Mail toolbar is nowhere to be found. Also, the calendar is missing. I tried right clicking on empty space and it only showed "menu bar" as an option. Attachment shows nothing in the toolbars option of View dropdown.

I am using the apt version of firefox v125.0.2 (64-bit). I do not have a dedicated GPU - I use my intel core's internal gpu only Intel Corporation HD Graphics 620 (rev 02).

I used to play this game named narrow.one, which before I reinstalled the mentioned libraries, was working fine except for crashing a few times. I thought these libraries were causing some issue, so I tried reinstalling them.

I reinstalled the libraries using: `sudo apt install --reinstall --fix-missing libgl1* libegl*`

After installation, I start getting that error. So, I tried reinstalling firefox (using the same command), and then restarting the laptop - but of no use. Chrome seems to be running WebGL, including the game.

In firefox, on the https://get.webgl.org/ page, I see Hmm. While your browser seems to support WebGL, it is disabled or unavailable. If possible, please ensure that you are running the latest drivers for your video card.

After that, I also tried reinstalling `libopengl0` and `libglu1-mesa` and `intel-microcode`, but of no use. Running although, `sudo intel_gpu_top` and then chrome, it seems that the GPU is in use by chrome as well.

I then go to about:support. It shows me the images I have attached. Reading the logs, there several `blocklisted` values in `Decision Log` section. I suspect that's the cause of this issue, but then I don't know how can I un-blocklist the blocklisted things, and even after that, why does Chrome runs webgl if these are blocklisted?

I do not know much about OpenGL, but reading the above stuff, I suppose my GPU is in use and also has a compatible driver (although I am not sure).

Also, running `glxdemo`, `glxheads`, and `glxgears` seems to be rendering stuff.

Should I reinstall firefox after purging it first? Please help.

I've got a Fastmail account, and have set up CardDav according to Fastmail's guide to get set up with Thunderbird.

Once my contacts synced, I was unable to see my contact lists in the Thunderbird contacts sidebar, nor can I add a list (the button is greyed out). Is this a known issue? Is it Fastmail specific, or a CardDav thing?

Hello, For some reason, over the past couple of months I have been searching for varied emails and they are missing! At one point, I found that some had been put in an archive folder (that I did NOT set up) and they were recent emails. I removed them from the folder, placed them back in the regular inbox and deleted that folder. When I could not find another very important series of emails today, after searching numerous ways, I looked in the server and missing emails are there. I did look at a number of email threads where other people reported similar problems... but couldn't figure out what applied to my situation and how to fix this. To show a specific example, I attached two images ... the first is my Thunderbird email account that shows one Email only on Feb 18, 2024. The Juno server image shows 7 emails on that same date, four which were important contracts that were sent to me. Can you please help me locate and retrieve these and other missing emails? When I answer an email TB adds Re: (or Fwd: ) in the subject line which I have laways found annoying. My previous email client allwed me not to have this happen. Is it possible to stop this?

It is possible I have asked this previously, but if so, I cannot find this and have received no replies. My apologies if I have!

I have two audio device plugged in. firefox only outputs to the usb devise even though i have selected the aux out on windows. all other programs use the selected audio out but not firefox

I am an e-mail packrat.... I have a pop e-mail but keep years and years worth of old e-mails (inbound and outbound) some with big attachments. My backup for the few e-mail accounts I have within my profile is approx 13 gigs. I've moved machines... and currently running Ventura on my imac.

I have to force-quit all the time to get my e-mail working again. It hangs-up.... sometimes will recover... but then... I type a few words or maybe sentences... and back to HANGING-UP again. Sometimes after a Force-Quit... it will behave for awhile. Other times... it takes 4-5-6 force quits in a row to get the program working again. Been having these issues for months... and have taken out all the add-ons etc.... HELP... pulling my hair out! Thanks

Last week, sometime, I received ALL the emails, that have come into my "mailbox", from about the time I purchased my latest computer, several years ago. There must be hundreds, if not thousands, of the little critters. All arranged alphabetically, starting with the letter "a". So far, the ONLY solution I've found from "Thunderbird Help", is to 1. Open inbox 2. Select [left click] one of the repeated emails. 3. This high lights the email in BLUE. 4. Select BOTH "CONTROL & A" KEYS at the same time. 5. This highlights the WHOLE PRESENT page of emails in BLUE. 6. The instructions then say to press the "DELETE" key. 7. Question is- IF I PRESS THE "DELETE" key, will that just delete the emails on this page, OR delete EVERY email in my entire "inbox"? The only OTHER remedy I've tried, is to send the unwanted emails, ONE at a time, to the "TRASH" folder, then empty the "TRASH" folder, when I get 10-15 emails in it. That could take a VERY long time. Hello! I am facing the issue with time zone translations. Here is what I do. First, I create event on web-interface of the google calendar. That account is linked to TB's calendar. This calendar has settings for my timezone as in the first screenshot, that is GMT+3 for Kyiv, Ukraine. It is actually GMT+2 + daylight saving hour in effect. Country is also set to Ukraine. Next, my Windows 11 system is set to set time and timezone automatically, region - Ukraine. It displays UTC+2 Helsinki, Kyiv,... I guess it's Windows settings display quirk, because time is correct and WSL console shows

My TB's calendar is set to have system's timezone as in 3rd screenshot.

Now if I see my event in TB calendar, it is placed one hour later, say 9 am event starts at 10. So reminders also come hour later. Also strange thing is that event properties in TB show correct time like 9:00 till 10:40, but for some strange timezone Europe/Zaporozhye, as in 4th picture.

However, if I set TB's calendar manually to Europe/Kiev (which should be Kyiv, but that's another story), then events are shifted hour up to their right place, 9 am. So this is my issue: when I set calendar forcibly to Kyiv timezone, it does translate it right. When I ask calendar to rely on system's timezone, which indeed is also Kyiv, then I get one hour behind.

I have encountered a recurring issue specifically with Firefox where SVG images fail to display unless a pixel-defined height attribute is explicitly set. This behavior contrasts with other browsers, which handle SVG scaling seamlessly, typically adapting to the specified width or inheriting dimensions from parent elements.

During our website development, primarily through Elementor and leveraging Flexbox in a WordPress environment, this discrepancy becomes evident. The issue persists exclusively in Firefox, confirmed through extensive testing across various browsers and OS's with multiple SVG files and sites.

For diagnostic purposes, I recommend conducting controlled tests with SVG images embedded with our current setup. Set the SVGs to 100% width without defining their height and observe how they render in Firefox compared to other browsers. This should help ascertain whether the behavior in Firefox is anomalous.

I am assuming it may be with the way the markup of the SVG is rendered as it doesn't happen with all SVGs, however, other browsers appear to fix or override whatever is getting in the way from rendering...it is a strange issue.

I have included two images as an example. As you can see in the first image, the SVG isn't rendering (in Firefox) , but does render in Chrome/Safari. It only works when I define a height in px value on Firefox.

Please let me know if further information is required or if any specific steps need to be undertaken to address this issue.

Firefox just stops responding when trying to load a web page. The only way to get it back working is to reboot the computer. I have tried quitting the application but when I try to restart it it doesn't respond and I end up having to force quit and reboot the computer and then it will work fine. MacBook Pro (15" 2017) MacOS13.6.6 Firefox 125.01

Any idea what's going on?

How can the Firefox message popups be permantly turned off they are modal breaking my automation.

I had used and uninstalled Chrome, and others. All I have is FF and ME. Some times when I attempt to open a web page, FF fails and I have to use ME. But other times ME fails and I need to use FF. I recognize that all browsers other than FF are the same or similar basis. So, how can I stick with JUST FF. And not have to keep ME updated or active. Just let ME sit there unused. Why can't FF work with all web sites? Is the problem with them or with FF?
