Having tried to resolve so many issues and scrolling through all these multiple help topics, I'm wondering whether Thunderbird is just too problematic to continue with. At the moment I can't send or receive emails and I've hunted down every fix I can find with no result. Right now I have the issues in the images attached.

How do I export bookmarks either on my iphone or my iPad? All the instructions seem to be for desktop. There is no ‘manage bookmarks’ at the bottom of the bookmark menu. Desktop is not an option.

I downloaded. I donated. Then a screen come up with an envelope and some love hearts saying "one more step". But there is no indication as to what that step is or how to take that step! How does one install this program?

Firefox is synced on all my computers. Same version. Same extensions. I can't login on my primary desktop as of last night 5/23/24. I can login/watch Prime on my laptop. My desktop gives me the attached error.

Is it possible to get different sounds for different accounts?

I use Thunderbird on my computer and have several email accounts. Is it possible to get a different sound for incoming mail in each account? If so, how?

Using OSX 12.7.5 on two laptops and a Mac Pro. Selling one of the laptops. Removed personal data for Firefox by 'trashing' the Firefox folder in Libaray/Application support. Then disscovered that the 'Privacy/Security' folder in both the laptop and Mac Pro were now empty. Nothing else affected. Went into TimeMachine and restored the entire Firefox folder from a recent backup. Privacy/Security folder not restored. Anyone have any ideas?

WHY THE F IS MY FIREFOX CRASHING EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST MONTH? WHAT IS GOING ON< AND HOW CAN I CORRECT IT? THIS IS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, AND IF IT CAN'T BE FIXED PLEASE TELL ME A BETTER BROWSER>....

There's not really much skirting around it. Yesterday, I came across this sudden error with my Firefox browser on PC (see annexed image), which basically rendered me unable to open it for some reason. It did get fixed that same day somehow, though for a short while, as I was faced with the same error message again today and once again haven't been able to open my browser, much to my frustration.

I tried searching about it on the internet, but didn't find anything of help – most videos about it refer to a mistake on the Windows OS with the same code (0xc000185); asking around to people I knew didn't do much, either.

Today I tried a bunch of stuff to see if it resolved my problem in any way, such as: 1. Restarting my laptop (didn't work); 2. Installing both suggested and optional updates available to my Windows version (put me at ease a little, but still didn't work); 3. Searching for malware (antivirus didn't find anything, so I'm thankful this one didn't work); 4. Verifying system files with 'sfc /scannow' (all was good, so it didn't work);

I was also going to try doing a 'chkdsk /f /r', but I didn't have time to, as I had to leave for something. There are also other things such as creating another profile, which I'm considering; updating Firefox, which I can't do because I can't open the browser to check if there are any updates; and reinstalling Firefox, which I'm slightly afraid to do and will leave as a last resort because I don't want to risk accidentally doing it wrong and losing all my history, bookmarks, etc.

Any help would be incredibly welcomed. Thanks in advance.

P.S.: The text on the error message reads (translated from PT-BR): "The app couldn't be started correctly (0xc0000185). Press OK to close the app." Sorry if the photo isn't very good.

I'm trying to search and selected my preferred search engine. Default selected is duckduckgo. But every time I search it jumps to Bing. Not my preference. How do I eliminate Bing from this phone?

When logging into a Wordpress site on Firefox, hovering over Username displays a gear (see first screenshot) which when clicked on exposes passwords and allows them to be edited (see second screenshot). This does not happen on other browsers. I'm on Firefox 126.0, MacOS Big Sur 11.7.10

Need some help. I can't download any files using Firefox. It always says, "Failed".

I tried other browsers, and I'm able to download just fine.

I already tried this guide, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-download-or-save-files, but still same.

I haven't tried to re-install Firefox because I have a bunch of workbook marks that might get lost. So, I want the re-install option as a last resort.

Thunderbird frequently stops retrieving emails for one of my accounts. I can still send them, but I don't receive them. I have to restart my computer for it to do so again, which generally lasts for a couple of days.

I'm using Version 115.11.0.

Shoot!! I just filled this out, and somehow, it reverted me back to This screen again!! I am not a programmer or IT Guy. What I am is a person that is Very alert to sudden changes in my experiences. I retired 14 years ago, as a Manager in a Manufacturing industry. Very familiar using desktop. For some reason, about a couple weeks ago, some of my sites have begun using google adds, over and over. When I click on the "X", wants to know why, etc. I use Malware Bytes, scans every day. Does NOT discover any malware, but I KNOW something has changed to allow the bombardment! Is it possible it's just a single site that I had to change and log in to? Even if so, WHY doesn't Malware stop them? Should I try a system restore to weeks ago? I am on here Every day.so I'm pretty cognizant of changes! ADVICE PLEASE!! Bruce Pierce

Thanks in advance for any insight or suggestions. My preferred browser is Firefox. In Chrome, I can easily use a voice search from www.google.com. In Firefox, the permissions show my preferred mic as enabled and selected for that webpage -- but no sound is detected. (Using Firefox. mic works fine at https://www.onlinemictest.com.)

(BTW, speaker output is Realtek motherboard audio and mic input is a Shure X2U USB interface. This mic works just fine in zoom, whereby, audition, etc. as well as working google.com using chrome)

Have worked through various settings in the SOUND panel and SITE PERMISSIONS with no luck.

Any ideas about this problem -- or what other settings to trouble shoot?

On the 23. of Mai I first noticed that I am unable to download any files whatsoever. I tried downloading .exe files and also a .csv file. When I try to download one of these files it appears in the downloads window but immediately goes to the status "Failed". Any retry fails as well.

The same thing goes for extensions. I cannot download any extensions or plugins using my Firefox browser. Since I reinstalled Firefox I can now also not use Plex because Firefox can't install the required plugins.

I will attach screenshots of all the errors I get.

All of the above worked when I tried it on the Edge browser.

Firefox version: 126.0 Windows 11

Things I have tried to fix the issue:

• Use the network connection from my phone instead of my home network
• Disable firewall and windows defender
• Reinstall Firefox
• Refresh Firefox
• Downgrade to version 125.0.1 and 122.0
• Reset router to factory settings
• Flush dns
• Restart PC
• Manually delete profile folder
• Delete temp files
• Change download destination
• Disable "Block dangerous and deceptive content"
• Troubleshoot Mode

Is Firefox using some other temporary folder for downloads?

Any ideas on how to fix this issue would be appreciated.
