For the two nights any tabs i have open on mozilla are wiped out. Not the first time this happened, and last time i managed to somewhat fix it. I tend to keep a lot open, but today it was well under 20 and it still every tab vanished and i had to go digging to find the windows i was keeping to read, listen to music, and last few times i lost a lot of art references and recipes i never found again. Finding the ‘need to haves’ in history only works for tabs i kept outside of private browsing, and looking for the lost tabs is well over an hour for only 10-13 tabs to be found since i look up a lot of random things. Am beyond wits end as i spent three hours up late trying to fix it, only to spend another two trying to fix it when it happened again

This has been happening with increasing frequency for months, most recently twice this week; overnight, all my tabs on firefox mobile for ios will disappear. They aren't in the 'recently closed', I have triple-checked that I turned the inactive tabs setting OFF (and they aren't there), I just wake up and all my tabs are gone. Unlike others whose tabs vanish, it doesn't seem to be related to the app updating, it just happens randomly with no warning. Firefox is the best web browser for me, but this is making me consider switching back to safari for mobile because I cannot stand this. I really want to continue being able to use firefox for mobile. Please, can anyone help me figure out where my tabs are going and why?

Firefox for iPadOS tabs are periodically gone when I launch the app. History and recently closed are still there, so I can reopen them, but it’s a pain to have to keep doing it!

Hello! I’m a bit concerned because firefox has been functioning perfectly fine up to last week, when it started not crashing, but losing the opened sessions. I had many tabs that I would go back to after closing firefox. And then suddenly, when I opened it, there were no tabs at all. This happened again yesterday. And today again. I cannot find the option “restore previous session” like on the computer, so I go to history and manually restore the lost tabs, and of course it isn’t possible to remember everything, so lots are being lost. Whenever I have multiple tabs open in the Firefox iOS app and then exit the app to use a different one, I’ve noticed that all my tabs close. Thankfully, I don’t lose the webpages I was browsing or my browsing history, but it’s quite frustrating to have to go to the tabs section of the app and reopen them manually every single time I switch between apps.

I believe that this behavior could be improved to enhance the overall user experience. It would be fantastic if the Firefox iOS app could retain the open tabs, similar to how other browsers on iOS handle this situation. This would save users valuable time and provide a smoother transition between apps, which is especially important in today’s fast-paced digital environment.

I wanted to bring this issue to your attention in the hopes that it could be considered for a future update to the Firefox iOS app. I believe that making this adjustment would make Firefox even more user-friendly and help retain users who value a seamless mobile browsing experience.

I updated the app and all my tabs are gone. I don’t have a pc so I exclusively use firefox on my IOS, so I don’t think I can sync it with anything. I really don’t know how any of this works but I had 100+ tabs open and this is very distressing, please let me know if there’s any way to recover them

all of my tabs (normal and private) keep closing. they aren't in inactive tabs or synced tabs. i've made sure the app is up to date, i deleted and reinstalled, cleared my cached and nothing has solved this issue.

Recently I opened the app to find my 50+ tabs gone. No crash, no update, no shut down. I painstakingly found about 5 of the tabs I’d lost, came back to the app (never closed the app) and discovered those gone. Again. With no explanation. I’m pretty angry about this.
