Google maps directions has stopped working with Firefox ver71
Since firefox upgraded to ver 71 the directions will no longer work Sorry, we could not calculate directions from ? to ? but still works ok in Microsoft Edge.

Using 64-bit Firefox on a Windows 10 system (version 1909, OS Build 18363.476), there is a site which works fine when using an old profile but which for news profiles gives a “Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue” message with error code SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Visit https://www.bancosantander.es/
2. Click on the top-right red square with a lock icon and the text “Acceso clientes” / “Accés clients”
A frame with a login form should appear but instead an error page shows up (the certificate is for particulares.bancosantander.es and the issuer CN Entrust Certification Authority - L1M; if necessary I can paste the about:certificate string).
The profiles that work were created on previous builds of both Firefox and Windows. On the aforementioned Windows version, all tested Firefox builds (stable 71.0.0 and unbranded builds reaching back to Firefox 68.0.1) do not work (the profiles might have been created earlier but I don't know where to get earlier builds which won't require installing).
What could be the problem, and how could it be fixed?

Normally when I close three windows with a number of tabs, they open up without any problem. Sometimes I open one of the closed windows by opening recently closed windows. This time nothing comes up. And the recently closed windows (and tabs) is empty. Also, Bing has become my home page, which I would never chose myself. It happen 7th December 2019.
Any Idea what casuses this. It is very anoying, since I cant remember all websites I visited or rather saved.

Sometimes the easiest way for me to get what I want from a website is to change the url directly. For example, changing www.amazon.com to smile.amazon.com or changing the user account number in google. In the past I've been able to click on the URL bar to change it. But now when I do that it becomes the previous search and not the current URL. So how can I directly change the url?

Firefox is crashing (BSOD) my computer (PC with Win7x64) daily, during mouse movement or during auto-scrolling after clicking the middle mouse button. It usually happens at least once per day, and has been happening for weeks. FF, Windows and my mouse driver are up to date. I have tested memory many times (using Memtest86) and my hard drive. I have no crashes except in Firefox during mouse activity.
The BSOD reports vary. Recent ones: Bad Pool Caller (019 and 0C2), PFN List Corrupt (04E), Memory Management Error (01A), ??? (07E), System Service Exception (033). The only consistent thing is using the mouse within Firefox.

I don't know why, it's never happened before, and I can't seem to find it in the options or the support guides. I tried different extensions, but results are unsatisfactory. Does anybody know some trick? My goal is to find a method to flush all javascript structures in RAM. I explored about:memory, and tried the vmmap.exe (process memory analyzer) from the Sysinternals Suite, but I have not succeeded so far. Auto unload tab -- is not a solution. For example I clicked on links and opened 30 tabs in background. PC starts working very slow, Now I want to stop all them, and to read the loaded information (webpages). How to do it? I think it is the weakest side of Firefox. Needed to abrupt all attempts to make network connection, after the "offline mode" is enabled. I need something to stop javascript's attempts to connect, to calm it down. I want to start read webpages already loaded, and javascript occupies CPU. To kill threads in the Process Manager is not a way to do at all, Auto-unload also, I want to read those webpages. I have enough of RAM, it is not used more then a half. Many years ago, when there was HTML4, I used for a little the Maxton browser. It had a button to stop all pages. All similiar Firefox extensions do not act effectively like that. the issue not in scarcity of RAM, but in a badly design of browser's architecture, that javascript occupies users' PCs.

I recently re-imaged a Windows 7 Home Premium machine (service pack 1) I have the latest version of java installed, and a fresh install of FF 71. The Firefox install is set to "factory" defaults with no addons. Most (all?) web sites have one or more elements that either fail to load completely or flash on and off as I move the mouse or scroll through the page. On the affected computer this page fails to load almost entirely, I've written this question on a different machine, also running FF71 though this one is flawless.
Some pages, like Googles home page, will eventually stabilize and become usable (their logo is an element that is almost always an issue) but other sites like Bloomberg never seem to stabilize and any attempt to scroll or navigate is like watching a bad light show.

i am using an iMac 27" with MacOS Catalina 10.15.1. Today I noticed that when I search a website for an unique token (as an example, 1234), and the token is not found the search window turns red but the sound no longer is used. Notices from Outlook and Chrome work fine.
Any thoughts? I ndo a ot of searches and the audio notification was a great way to get my attention.

While I am playing a full screen online game, FF keeps exiting fullscreen whenever the cursor comes close to the upper edge.
Result: the view changes a lot, slowing down the game to boot. VERY annoying. Is there a fix or addon to keep fullscreen until I myself decide to turn it off?

Sometimes when using Firefox it'll freeze up for like 5-10 seconds after I do certain things:
- Leave the app and come back to it - Interact with a notification - Open the control center - Swipe down to open the notification area (I forget what that's actually called)
I'm on the most recent version of FF iOS and my phone is an iPhone 6S on iOS 12.4. The issue doesn't always occur but I'm not sure what the difference is in the times it does and doesn't happen.
Amazon.com main page drop-down for departments is double spaced.
Other browsers show departments in this drop-down single spaced. See screen capture for sample.
