I am trying to add a secondary Comcast email account to T-Bird. The primary account was added OK. This is a sub account of the top one.

Note, I have 2 other computers and I was able to add this sub account easily, but that was some years ago.

When I go through the motions of adding my email address and password, when I click "Done" a window pops up with the massage "Secure Connection Failed" The error code is PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR.

When setting up the primary account, the little window asked me my password then asked if it was OK for T-Bird to access the account. This was as normal like all the Gmail ones I did.

But it seems this sub account cannot be added.

Any Ideas?

I'm developing an android app that uses the OAuth2.0 auth code flow to authenticate users. The app launches a CustomTab which in turn, responds with a redirect to the app's redirect scheme. Chrome redirects immediately, closing the CustomTab. Firefox does nothing regardless of the state of the "Open in app" setting.

In order to reproduce this: 1. Create an android app with a redirect scheme 2. Create a webserver that simply redirects to that scheme 3. From the app, open a CustomTab to the webserver 4. Observe the CustomTab not redirect

For a more concrete example, I can reliably reproduce using the sample app from https://github.com/kalinjul/kotlin-multiplatform-oidc and an [Authentik](https://goauthentik.io/) server but I'm sure something like Auth0 would have the same problem.

I have scoured the web and read/tried everything. I cannot remove the time and date stamp from my documents. No matter what program/app they are printed from it shows up ruining my printing. I've tried unchecking the header/footer box. There's nothing in my brother printer set up regarding the date/time stamp. It has to be firefox. How do I fix this? I'm not a computer guru so I need details. I'm at my whits end! Thanks!

I've noticed that when logging into various websites, a random email address not known to me appears in autofill among my usual email addresses. This unfamiliar address is under the @shanreto.com domain and shows up across different websites. My Firefox account is synced between my PC and mobile phone. Both devices are password-protected and under my control at all times, and I have only installed uBlock Origin as an extension.

Could there be any explanation other than the possibility of someone accessing one of my devices through malicious software or similar means?

Long ago I used to never have to hit F5 to see today's version of a page instead of the cached version, and I do NOT want to clear cache or cookies or history on exit, no, that's not the setting I'm looking for, thanks.

I can't sign into my TracFone account on FireFox or FireFox Private Window. But I "can" sign on in Chrome. Is there someway to fix this as FireFox is my main default browser.

For some time now, I've been experiencing the following issues with PiP:

• The floating window opens in a random (and annoying) place and does not place itself automatically on the lower right corner as it used to (where I always move it, so it has no memory as it used to)
• It's impossible to keep the "always on top" mode on by default, and I have to do it every single time
• When I toggle windows, the PiP window is always the next one, even when it was not the one I switched from, and I have to always toggle twice for switching between two windows when I have a 3rd PiP window
• When I change language using the keyboard shortcut, it changes the language on the PiP window, and I have to use the language icon bar. Then, the PiP window becomes activated, and I have to toggle back to the window I was working on before (on which I wanted to change language). I have the "separate languages for separate windows" option activated.

It's been some months now, and all those things were working before an update but never came back...

Does anyone know if there's a way of fixing these issues? I've tried things I found online but nothing seems to work.

My question is this: when visiting websites all Icons appear like in the screenshot: replaced by gray shapes.

Anyone familiar with this? Perhaps a solution? Would a reinstall help. Any suggestion is welcome.

When I'm sending attachments in Thunderbird some of my clients are recieving the email but not the attachments, though when they look on the phone they can see the attachment ?

What can I change in my outsettings for attachments to solve this issue

So this problem keeps happening to me - I click "upload" on a website and nothing happens. For example, trying to upload photos to my website or upload files to a platform. Frustrating. To work around it I've been using a separate tab of Google chrome but it's such a pain to keep swapping back and forth. Please help!!

When I click on the arrow to acquire any emails from my isp it will often say downloading 3 emails or 5 emails or some number, but only one or two come in. I have to hit the arrow again to get more. Sometimes it will say downloading some number of emails, but NOTHING comes in. I don't remember this happening until about a month ago. Can you help?

Needed to look through my April history (pages looked at) in the Library. I had APRIL history up, ready to look through it. I tried to delete one page and it DELETED the whole MONTH. How do i get the APRIL history back? APRIL is gone from the list. jumps to March after the last 7 days

I went to RESTORE but this talks about BOOKMARKS It shows for today may 7, 149 items for example then it shows April 29, april 9, april 4 april 1, each with about 150 items but if I were to click on these it says will replace all BOOKMARKS,

Quite often I find that Thunderbird is very slow to obtain a connection with my Outlook account. I can run my Outlook directly and everything is updated in about 20 seconds and at the same time it may take a couple of minutes up to a few minutes for Thunderbird to complete downloading. Additionally, many times during this lag in connecting, I receive a message that the password is incorrect, which is bogus; all I have to do is select "Retry" and the download process continues. I am using the latest version of Thunderbird "115.10.2 (64-bit)." This problem has been occurring on previous versions as well.

My email was converted from Cox to Yahoo by Yahoo on a system wide conversion on April 27th. In the transition I lost all the emails in my Thunderbird inbox from 4/12 back to the first of the year. I also lost everything in my draft folder.

Carbonite did a restore of the default file (that was dated 4/8) by couldn't get these back. Need to get everything that was in the inbox and draft file on 4/26 (or sometime prior) What can I do?

I am running Windows 10 (64-bit) Version 22H2 OS build 19045.4355 with the Firefox browser v125.0.3 and since updating to the latest Firefox version I am no longer able to load more than 17 Tradingview tabs and the Tradingview tabs I do upload take a long to to refresh or to save changes too. I do not have this issue using other browsers.
