Time in calender will only work with one hour between start and finish time
Up till recently calender worked OK but will now only allow me to have 1hour for an event if I try to set it for longer the first time moves to within one hour of finish time.

There is a small link symbol to the right of the start and finish times. If the points are touching the set time interval that you have in Calendar options (default 60 minutes) will be maintained when you modify the time. Click that symbol and the points will move apart and stop this action.
