Why doesn't Google Calendar render in Thunderbird?

After installing the google calendar tab add-on, the calendar is incorrectly displayed in the tab. I've used this feature for a long time now and this only recently became a problem. The calendar information is correct but it's displayed more or less as a text file. I've attached a screenshot for reference.

Solved. Need to specify /render in the URL preferences for the add-on.

obviously your not using Lightning and cal dav, your using one of the add-ons that opens a tab that is the google calendar web page.
