Hi, I too am a giffgaff subscriber and want to know how to change the voicemail key (1) to 443. I have tried the solution above but it doesn't work. Anyone have any other suggestions?

hello, i might have misunderstood the original question. the code i've posted above was not to assign a quick-dial number to a certain key but to enable redirection for incoming callers to the voicemailbox-number in case the device is unreachable/busy...

sorry, i cannot answer this question then. maybe someone who owns a device or is from the development team might know if there's already a setting available to change the predetermined number or if it's a missing feature that might be added in an update.

I don't believe you can change the default 1 key for voicemail. That is default for devices here in North America as to my knowledge. I am not sure of other countries.

At this moment are you unsure to how access your voicemail or having trouble accessing your voicemail?

@feer56 _ thanks for your post. I can access voicemail by dialling 443 so not a major issue. It's. Just that every other make of mobile I've owned always allowed hotkey 1 to be changed.

Please do not comment in bug reports unless you have sufficient information that will help with the issue.

You may have misunderstood the issue - we need to change the number that the hotkey 1 dials as this is incorrectly assigned by Firefox OS.

I'm now running v1.1.0B01, in Call Settings I see the Voicemail number listed, but there is no way that I can see to update the number.

May have to wait till 1.2 in March. ZTE seem to be keeping to a 3 month behind Mozilla schedule by my reckoning. 1.2 was signed off 9th Dec, ZTE released 1.1 the very next day. I also am on giffgaff & have seen a huge jump in stability with 1.1, keep up the good work!

If you go to Settings > Call settings > select voicemail - is it not possible for you to tap on the voicemail button and change the # it dials? I can do this with my device.

Not working here. Tapping results in nothing. Giffgaff does piggy back off the o2 network but field is not editable with European standard ZTE Open from eBay.
