The answer has already been given but it would be so much more helpful if someone had mentioned what the reload button looks like. It is a circle with an arrowhead on it at the one o'clock position - sorry but I don't have the skill to reproduce it here.

It is located at the far right end of the navigation toolbar. That is the toolbar where you type in ( on the left side) the information of a site you want to visit such as www.answers.com.

The replies are further obfuscated by information on customizing toolbars - You should not need to do any of this. I suspect that everyone already has the navigation bar in place.

Current Firefox versions use a combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is positioned at the right end of the location bar.

  • During the page load process it shows as a Stop button and after the loading has finished the button is changed to a Reload button.
  • If you type in the location bar then that button becomes a Go button.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.

  • Firefox menu button > Options
  • View > Toolbars (press F10 to display the menu bar)
  • right-click empty toolbar area

Use Toolbar Layout (Customize) to open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.

  • check that "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
  • if missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
  • if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

I had same problem, selected VIEW, TOOLBARS and then CUSTOMISE and discovered the REFRESH had somehow become hidden beneath some other buttons. I dragged and dropped them back into place!

Hope this helps!
