How long untill Firefox forgets your previous session?
I know that Firefox can automatically restore my previous session if my computer crashes or is turned off at the plug, but is there a like a cut off for that so to speak? If I leave my computer off for long enough will it forget my session? Or will it automatically load up again?

Yes, if the sessionstore file is there, Firefox will use it. If it isn't, it wont. If you are reinstalling windows and it deletes your personal data, the file won't be there, so Firefox won't restore your session

hello, probably not - the data that is necessary for restoring your session is stored as a file inside your profile folder (sessionstore.js). as long as this file is available firefox will/can restore the previous session.
Okay, well my computer has crashed and it says something about installing a system disk, would that affect it session restoration?
i cannot answer this with certainty - as stated before, this will depend if the sessionstore.js-file is still present in your profile folder & readable. when you use the system disk to reformat the contents of your harddisk & reinstall windows from scratch it will be gone too of course...
Okay thanks :)
Sorry for all the question but what if I'm playing about with the internals of the computer to sort the disk boot failure out? Does it again depend on whether the session file is still there?

Okay, thanks
Synced tabs should expire after a week.
Okay, I turned the computer off at the power switch at the back of the computer, would it have had time to save my session?
It takes at least 15 seconds to make Firefox store the current session after making changes to open tabs.
