Firefox is no longer working w/ my OS X 10.6.8

when I click on my firefox icon. Firefox does not open a browser window nor do I see a file menu at the top where I can manually open a new window. All This week Firefox would open with out a window, just the file menu bar at top but I was still able to manually get a window to my email. Now nothing.

Please advise. If I should de-install the old software and re-install new software. I believe I installed a new Flash within the last 2 weeks.

Is Firefox opening in full-screen format, then? You can toggle that to normal with a keyboard shortcut: Cmd-Shift-F. If it was a website that switched to that format without your permission, you can prevent that by opening the about:config window and setting this:

full-screen-api.enabled - set to false
