Firefox 11 opens but does not connect on mac os x 10.7.2
I downloaded Firefox 11 on my mac os x 10.7.2 (I have been using google chrome and safari so far) When I click on the Firefox icon it opens, and appears to be connecting to my homepage. This just goes on and on, and then I get an error msg "The connection has timed out". I have tried connecting to other pages that are usually easy to connect to like yahoo.com and to mozilla.com, with the same result.
