I am still having problems with my Yahoo messenger flashing a message has arrived but no message show.
When signed in to my Yahoo mail, a notification will flash telling me a message has arrived; however, I cannot access the message. Neither can I open a box to send a new message or text message to a phone. This only happens on my Fireox browser. I have had to resort to using Explorer to access messages and texts from Yahoo. Very slow and inconvenient.

Hi,
Please try toggling the Messenger options in Yahoo between Window and Tab. You may also have to do a Ctrl + F5 refresh of the page. If the problem persists please check in Safe Mode

I have a similar problem. I keep receiving an im when i open my Yahoo mail. I cannot access messenger options at all. I have done Ctrl+F5 but all it does is take me out of chat. It stiill has not solved the problem. I cannot stop this Im from popping up nor access Messenger options to block or delete. Pls help!!

I am not sure i understood what is meant by between Small Window and Tab in Yahoo. What do you have to do? How do you do it? Ctrl +F5 is not solving the problem. I am still getting the IM from the same person and it always opens 2 windows which i close every time but not able to acess Messenger Options. It simply won't highlight & open. Should I upgrade to FF10? there was just Aurora or Beta. I am using a Dell laptop. Thanks
The messenger options is inside Options which is on the upper left side. You may have to change between Window and Tab until one of the options finally settles down.
in yahoo mail? or from firefox? upper left side of where? in ff i find tools on top & options but no messenger options just general etc
i managed to open a new window and in new tab..messenger options just does not work when i click on it... in new window it signed me out of chat and i have normal yahoo mail..but with no messenger options listed...still have the same problem when i leave page & then go back into mail.

It's the Options in Yahoo mail, on the top left. This may not be consistent, you may have to regularly toggle the options. You can also try the Firefox 10 beta or wait for the update.

Finally I managed to access Messenger Options and block the person. Unfortunately i had to go out of Firefox and do the process through Google chrome. It is probably a bug that FF has with Yahoo. Thanks for your help!
