I had Adobe Reader 9.x.x and an opportunity to upgrade to Reader X (10). When I got the download, and double clicked it to have it installed, as I've done with previous versions, there were to download and/or install progress meters running, one for the reader and one for Google Chrome. FireFox's homepage is Google. I don't know what this Chrome is, nor did I request it. I believe I wound up with a new program file directory with "google" date yesterday when this happened. I also now have a shortcut on the desktop labeled "google chrome". I haven't clicked on it, in fear of what would happen. FireFox still runs fine and has the homepage opening for google, which I like and I want. I don't know what this chrome is, and I'm wondering whether FireFox is actually using this program of what. I was thinking of deleting the program through 'add/remove programs', but didn't want to mess up FireFox. I hate when these things happen.
