Mozilla didn't change that, you must have something installed on your PC or in Firefox that changed it to Yahoo.

Which of the three areas in Firefox where you can do searches from does that happen?

  1. Location Bar - where web addresses are displayed and you can type a URL
  2. Search Bar - where you can select Google from a number of different search engines
  3. Search Container - on the default about:home homepage

It does it in the URL bar and the home page search container. When I use the search bar in the upper right it will still search with google.

What a load of crap - Get your facts straight or DESIST from posting in the future.

When Firefox updated the about:home page suddenly started using Yahoo instead of google.

about:home didn't change all by itself all of a sudden! That is the fact .

I have to tell you that postings like the one from twobobbles is the main reason I haven't posted here very much recently. Criticize the answer that was given over 7 months ago, and no solution - that is correct. Plus rudeness to a very frequent poster, who has a bit more Firefox knowledge than the person doing the criticism.
