I don't have Tools and options with all that cutesy c*** like FF used to have. FF4 has two different option bars under Orange Firefox drop down menu box and another options drop down menu box from options. So how the Hell do I save a browsing session? Then how do I reopen it? Can I set this thing to reopen last browsing session tabs like normal browsers do? And can I get through this stuff without having the damned thing crash every 5 minutes? Thanks- keimanzero

To FF: .... why do i have to jump through hoops to get the FF reload my previous session? why change something that already works? "it works,
SECOND OF ALL, if I close the FF and then click on a link somewhere in a Microsoft Word then FF will open it! and guess what? Restore previous session will be grayed out. MOST OF ALL, when you see that "26 out of 58 people found this reply helpful" it means that you need to ...

Here it says "Add image." I would took a dump, take a picture of it, and put it right here... FF does not deserve my dump!

You don't have to save sessions anymore before you close Firefox, it will remember open tabs automatically. When you reopen Firefox look under the History section and you will find an option that reads "Restore Previous Session." This will open all previous tabs to the state they were in on closing.

OK friends I solved it myself! I went back to the Fox 3.6.23 and it works fine. Except of course as per usual every so often Foxie crashes- regular as clockwork. You guys apparently use laptops not desktops which is why we differ so much. Sorry for the language but Irish have hot tempers and lose them quicker than most others do. Hope you had a nice Hall-o-we'en. Saturday is 5 Nov- Guy Fawkes Day' and don't forget to set your clocks back an hour for DST. Spring forward, Fall back. Thanks for the advice anyway- keiamanzero SOA

That's one way to solve the problem, unfortunately that leaves you behind. The developers seldom back down on changes that make things more difficult for users, but

Firefox is customizable and you can put things like that back to what you had before, plus other advantages that were supposed to be gained, but they have to make a point of showing you new features by hiding old features so that you notice the changes.

You can make Firefox 7.0.1 look like Firefox 3.6.*, see numbered items 1-10 in the following topic Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 4.0 thru 8.0, look like 3.6). Whether or not you make changes, you should be aware of what has changed and what you have to do to use changed or missing features.

There is a lot more beyond those first 10 steps listed, if you want to make Firefox more functional.

Please mark "Solved" one answer that will best help others with a similar problem -- hope this was it.
