I had an extra tool bar ( (in grand total of 3 custom added tool bars) that was just taking up space & needed 2 remove it. As no option to remove toolbar named singularly, only available option was 2 reset toolbar, I did that & started to build them again I added it & called it "weather", it created it & make space available, but after I hit "done" on customize toolbar, it disappeared. Find I am unable to create & maintain any new tool bars using customize tool bar. This is the very first that I have reset my toolbar and found this problem.

Did you add something to the new toolbar before you clicked Done? Empty custom toolbars are automatically deleted.

Hey TonyE.

Exactly the solution. Thx. I have added toolbars for years now & would not add appl. into that toolbar and it still remained, though blank. Presume Mozilla has, justifibly, tightened the code to delete toolbars that have not been populated as FF has matured. Let me clicked "solved" & again a big thanks to TonyE. Much appreciated. Aren't user community forums wonderful!!!!

No, removing a toolbar empty by removing all items from it is the (only) way to remove a toolbar.

If you've created a new toolbar and placed nothing on it then there is no need to keep that toolbar as well.
If you want extra (blank) toolbars e.g. for extra space for seeing more of a persona then you can drag a Space item on it.
