Sometimes I write something in Hindi. Now my hindi writing cannot be seen any more. Why?

I just upgraded to FF3.5.11. After my last upgrade I had to tweak about:config to get the Hindi back on. Now that doesnt work any more. In FF 2 everything worked fine without adjusting anything. I could bite my own backside. I wished I had not upgraded.

New problem with FF3.5.11: Last time I could at still see the Tamil character set without tweking the about:config. Now all Indian character sets are OFF. Did mozilla do that on purpose..."oh, last time someone still managed to fix it...we have to prevent that from happening the next time".
