I can't watch videos on Facebook and games don't load. I've already installed the latest Adobe's applications for firefox and I've also looked through related topics in the forum, but there wasn't a satisfying answer.

I have windows 7 installed and and I didn't have any problem with Facebook until recently. Suddenly, I couldn't watch videos on Facebook and when I tried to play a game it wouldn't load. As a matter of fact I don't even get a loading message on my screen, but instead of that I get a blank page with no messsages at all. I have the latest version of flash player installed and I've already look through related topics, but I couldn't solve my problem.

Hello.

First of all, this is the support article that will tell you about installing the Flash plugin:

http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Installing+the+Flash+plugin

If it is correctly installed, it's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check, and except Flash, probably), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in safe mode (don't forget to select Disable all add-ons when you start safe mode). Of course, safe mode isn't good in your case, since it will disable Flash too. In any case, if after disabling all other add-ons the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See this article for information about troubleshooting extensions and themes and this one for plugins.

If you need support for one of your add-ons, you'll have to contact its author.

If the problem does not disappear when all add-ons, except Flash are disabled, it's possible that there's some issue with Flash itself. Make sure it's up to date. If it is and it's still not working correctly, please contact Adobe for support, since they are the ones who develop Shockwave Flash.

I upgraded to Firefox 4 tonight and now I can't load the game Scrabble that I play on Facebook. Any suggestions? It works with Google Chrome.

Any luck with Flash 11.2?

You probably need to uninstall the current Flash 11.3 first or the Flash installer may complain otherwise.

The Flash 11.2 player can be downloaded via this link:

Exactly the same as me, I could play games and listen to You Tube via IE but not firefox so I followed instructions in this video and unchecked download and recording in REAL PLAYER, but firefox has to be disabled when you do this http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0
