The Thunderbird New Message menu bar does not display with 32 bit version 153.0.2esr
When writing a new message, the Menu bar does not display so I cannot Send a composed message. This happened all of the sudden, and I have unsuccessfully searched to find out how to restore the Menu Bar. My 32 bit Thunderbird is up to date. Up to date Windows 11, & Firefox (default browser). Thanks for your help. Bob

View > Folders > Folder pane header
Press the alt key if the menu is not visible or use the three-line button at top right to access a menu.

While in Writing a new email, click on <alt> or <F10> , this would bring the Menu Bar temporarily, click on View, Toolsbars , then click on Menu bar and Composition Toolsbar. this should bring you back menu bar and Send button
Ah, I read too quickly and focused only on "new message".
Thank you both for the prompt reply that solved the problem. Hopefully this problem/solution will be added to your Thuderbird problem/solution data base
