Hi All,

ok, so just clicked retrieve messages and as they came in we had a power cut.

Rebooted the PC and all messages are there, but 2 copies ... I deleted one copy, but I can't delete the other ..... and they're all empty.

All the highlighted messages in the image will not delete. Any new ones that come in are fine, but these simply won't go away.

Any ideas?

It's probable that the folder's index was corrupted by the power outage. This can result in "phantom" messages showing in the folder. To fix this you can rebuild the index. Right-click on the folder name in the Folders Pane, choose "Properties" from the pop-up context menu, then click the "Repair Folder" button. Then Compact the folder. The phantom messages should now be gone.
