I can't get my Firefox icon to go to my desktop and become active. I also cannot uninstall Mozilla - it just allows me to attempt to repair it. My icon also shows Firefox 2 for some reason.

Hello! Your problem may be caused by the following reasons: 1. You have previously installed an old Firefox with residual old shortcuts, or there are registration information for multiple versions of Firefox in the system 2. The installation record of Firefox is damaged, or there is a problem with the Windows Installer cache 3. The installation path pointed to by the shortcut is incorrect or due to permission issues There may be several solutions to your problem, including: 1. Refurbish Firefox 2. Use third-party tools to force uninstallation (such as Geek Uninstaller, don't forget to select "Force Uninstaller") Note: I suggest you try renovating Firefox first, and if it doesn't work well, use a third-party tool to forcibly uninstall it. For renovating Firefox, you may need to refer to this: [http://mzl.la/15sSfJR|http://mzl.la/15sSfJR] Hope to help you!
