You are better off asking in places like https://discussions.apple.com/community/mac as this forum is for Mozilla products as listed in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new

A simple search for upgrade macOS 10.11.6 shows you need to update the macOS to 10.13 or 10.14 first.
