A Theme is causing problems
Hi I am a theme girl and have tried many over time. I had never used the Dynamic Theme which is supposed to change from day to night along with what it's doing outside. It was kind of bland (sorry to the creator) so I tried to change it to another one and it worked just fine. When I came back to my computer it had changed back to the Dynamic one again. Again I changed it then it was back again. Yesterday I actually removed it from my list of addons and now it's back again. How do I stop it? Thanks for any help. ♥

I suggest rechecking the list of addons to be sure you didn't just deactivate it instead of deleting it. If it is not there, then I suggest looking into the profile for the folder named 'extensions.' to see if it is still there. If there is a folder there named 'staged', I suggest deleting whatever is in the folder and see if that helps. My guess - and it's just a guess - is that the theme may be somehow corrupted and not fully being removed.

Hi Kiki I downloaded the theme, actually called Night and Day Dynamic from tools and addons here https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/search/?q=Dynamic%20Theme&appver=150.0&platform=WINNT
It wasn't to my liking so I exchanged it for another one but when I would open it again the one above was back. I did that twice and after the second time I just deleted it from the addons on my PC but it still comes back. I just opened Thunderbird a few minutes ago and it's back again. I sent you a photo of it. Thanks for any help. Loopy
Hi I'm still waiting for a solution if there is one. I put on a nice theme and next thing I know it has reverted to day and night one that is no longer on my PC. It's driving me insane.

Thank you so much David.. I had removed it from my addons but not from the other folder. It is now gone from there and it all seems to be back to the right theme. Thanks again so much David. Much appreciated.

You are very welcome. :) That step should never be necessary. It was my guess that it was 'stuck'...
