For the last 2 days or so, I cannot receive emails in Thunderbird from my Comcast email account, The app receives from other accounts. The app also sends emails from all my accounts, lets me read already-received messages and move the messages to other folders as it usually does. I just can't receive emails from Comcast/Xfinity. I note that Thunderbird had a update a few days ago.

Please tell us any and all error messages you see - please quote them in full, verbatim. Screen shots would suffice.

The first thing to do would be to verify your settings. If they have been working for a while, there's no good reason they shouldn't still work... and yet they sometimes don't.

Are you set up as an IMAP account? If so, here are my working settings. How do they compare with yours?

Incoming Server Type: IMAP Mail Server Incoming Server Name: imap.comcast.net Port: 993 User Name: <my email address> Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication method: Normal Password

SMTP Server Name: smtp.comcast.net Port: 465 Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication method: Normal password User Name: <my email address>
