141.1.0 download and send problems (mac)
I am running thunderbird 141.1.0 and am having trouble loading emails and sending emails. Has anyone any idea what the issue might be and how to resolve it?

For anyone to offer suggestions, you need to first explain the issue. One way to do that is to share complete error messages and screenshots of your incoming and outgoing server settings pane. Thank you
Thunderbird takes forever to load and the blue bar at the bottom runs from dark to light continuously.
- Start Windows in safe mode with networking enabled - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode
- Still In Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in Troubleshoot Mode - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-mode-thunderbird

Thanks for the reply but forgot to mention I am using MacOS on an imac and using thunderbird 141.1.0 which is so slow and having trouble sending and receiving emails.
Try disabling status bar at View > Toolbars.
