Firefox has taken to sending pop-ups of breaking news, which I then have to clear manually (Win 10) How can I stop this. I have looked in settings, but can't find an off switch for this "new" toy. At least the Thunderbird notifications disappear after a few seconds! These just pile up till they block the entire right hand side of my screen - and then they keep going, and block other more important notifications in the main notifications bit.
