Firefox deleted user data after the update

I updated firefox, and all my addons and sign ins are gone now. Search history and tabs remained intact. It also created a folder on my desktop, but I'm not sure how do I "extract" my old data from it.

Hi Damir, it sounds like Firefox performed a Refresh (sometimes called a Tune-up). As you note, that removes add-ons and custom settings. It should NOT remove your saved logins; that's a problem.

In the browser data you shared, it looks like some add-ons are installed, but their buttons might be back under the puzzle piece (Extensions button). See: Manage your extensions using the extensions button in the toolbar.


If you want to try to "undo" the Refresh, which actually involves a lot of file copying, see:
