Firefox upgrades running in background forcing you to restart

Agent virtuel отвечено

In any given day, I have 5 to 15+ browser windows open with various tools or cloud based software, databases. along with researching sites.

Like today, I try to open and type in a new window and I get the famous "Firefox is updated you must restart" All my windows are closed, I loose everything I had opened.

if you are forcing me to "restart" can you not have it reopen my existing webpages/ URLs? I understand that it cannot log me in. However, if I had websites for research open at least I would not forget which ones I had open. Even microsoft will reopen or at least tell me to save my information, etc. before upgrading.

Hello,

First, please make sure you have "Open previous windows and tabs" enabled in the Startup section of the General pane of Firefox Settings. If you do and your tabs are still missing after updates, please:

Second, you can configure when Firefox installs updates. Head to Settings, General panel, Firefox Updates section (under "Allow Firefox to").
