Starting today, if I use google search in Firefox it ALWAYS says i am robot and I have to Recaptcha puzzles. I have done everything with my computer, cleared cache/history, rebooted router/chose "No Proxy" for Internet access/ and searched for viruses/malware etc. Using latest version of Firefox 138.0.1 I am also already logged into my Google account. Dont have this issue if I use google with other browsers such as Edge or Chrome. on a Dell PC using Windows 10.

I dont want to switch browsers but dont know how long I can put up with this. Wouldn't be surprised if Google did this on purpose to entice Firefox users to switch to Chrome.

Please HELP

Of course that was to read "Google asks if I'm a robot on every search only in Firefox"

I had a very similar problem a few months ago, and it turned out that the cause was a bug in an extension I was using.

You could try starting Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode), which disables extensions. Do you still get the same issue?
