Choice of search engine is problematic
I recently discovered ecosia.org search engine and decided to add it to Firefox on my mobile device. However when I search for something, the attached '404' page is shown. This invites me to 'return to ecosia.org' and re-enter the search parameters. Perhaps I entered the wrong URL for ecosia.org? Does it try to load the browser of that name instead of the search engine?

Yes, it should be https://www.ecosia.org/search?q=%s
I had missed the 'q' (and omitted the 'https://'. Thanks.
