Why does firefox default to using Yahoo now instead of Google. How do I change this to use Google?
I have used Firefox for years and when searching then Google was automatically the default. The last month or 2 when I am using search, it is defaulting to Yahoo. Why did this happen and how do I change it back to defaulting to Google? Thank you.

Hello,
You can type : about:preferences then Enter in Firefox address bar. Or click on the hamburger menu (☰) at the far right of the address bar then Settings
Go to Search.
Default Search Engine Select Google
Tell me if you have problems.
No version of desktop Firefox has come with anything Yahoo search engine related since Firefox 57.0 as you can see a discussion about this at /forums/contributors/712925
Perhaps one of the Extension you have installed or updated recently added a Yahoo related search engine to Firefox.
