Note that the import may dump all the bookmarks in an "Imported Bookmarks" folder at the end of the Bookmarks Menu or Other Bookmarks instead of restoring their original locations. You also could try a "Backup" file in the JSON format. It's not very human-readable, but it should have all your bookmarks.
