I just discovered a bunch of installed extensions in the list I don't recognize, including several I definitely would not be interested in.

Is this the way Firefox android works?

That is up to the Addon developer to submit their Addon to be listed on Firefox Addon page. Whether or not you like the Addon isn't your decision to make. If you don't like the Addon then don't install it.

Please reread my OP. I said there were extensions I did not recognize, and would not be interested in them.

That's why i'm here. I did not install them.

Hi

Would you be able to share a screenshot listing those add-ons?

I can show you an example. Unless you can advise me how to create a screen shot of the entire list, I can only show three at at time. I've never seen these before that I can recall.

Hey Noel, you're right. Those extensions are not installed by default in Firefox for Android. Is it possible a friend/family member or someone else with access to your phone installed those extensions? If not, maybe another app installed them in Firefox somehow. Didn't know that was possible but someone might have figured out a way to do it.

Those 3 addons don't look malicious but you can go ahead and uninstall them. Is the "Remove" button missing from these addons?

Uninstall Firefox for Android extensions

If you can write down the rest of the addon names, I'll look into them. Maybe someone installed a "Collection" of addons from addons.mozilla.org to your Firefox which I believe installs a lot of addons at once or let's someone see many similar addons then install them one by one.
