What is meaning of the blue bar meter in the bottom right corner? It is stuck in half. After clicking on it the Activity Manager pops up, but with no actual info. If it brings some info about actual processing of data, it should display such info.

Looks like it is solved by Thunderbird update.
I have the same issue as the O.P. I seem to be running the most up to date version of TB: 128.4.2esr (32-bit). Very often, the bar will remain in the bottom right hand corner. If I double click on it, the activity manager pop up window appears. Quite often there is info in this window, and if I clear the list by clicking on the clear list button, and then close this pop up window, the bottom right hand corner bar still remains.
