Messages sent to Trash
Random Incoming messages get automatically sent to Trash after they have been read. The message can be moved back to Inbox but they automatically move back to Trash. How do I prevent this?

What is your mail providers retention policy. It sounds top me like you are fighting it.
As should be obvious, I'm talking about Thunderbird.
